One upping is one upping:deal Canelo did better against Mosley two years after Mayweather, wide UD without being almost KTFO in the process, and KO'd Baldomir who had never been KOd before. No need to go full spastic on me, ******.
I was hoping it would be Canelo because it represented a tougher fight and a mega fight that would surely be the biggest fight since May vs DLH. Sounds like they are building this one for later in the year. Guerrero has earned it though and good for him. It will let us know if Foyd has anything left in the tank before going after the lineal jr MW title. It would be nice to see Canelo vs Kirkland or to a lesser extent Angulo on the undercard to set up the big one.
Canelo is the future. You guys need to stop hating. PBF could never ruin Canelo. He is no Trinidad. The only thing he could do is frustrate Canelo by running away and pot shotting. I hate the Canelo got a damn belt as I feel a 21 year old is not ready to take on all the best at 154 but I honestly think he would work every single 154 pounder. Lara- too patient and does not like a body attack. Kirkland- Too chinny and he will fall hard by Canelo. Trout- He gets shy around a heavy hitter like he did against Rodriguez. The Cotto fight he felt comfortable against a smaller weaker fighter. Canelo ****s him hard as he is not hard to find. Molina- Tough fight but if Canelo can keep it on the outside he wins. I dont think many people can beat him on the inside though.... Angulo- Dude is tough as **** but too open for Canelos heavy combinations. Kirkland did damage and so can Canelo. Thurman- HAHAHAHAHAHA come on. He is so ****ing slow that Canelo would destroy him quick. He gets caught in between one of his slow ass wild swings and gets put to sleep.
Floyd went from Old Shane to the guy that got destroyed by Josesito Lopez but yet you're trying to make it sound like FLoyd's recent level competition is leagues above Canelo's.:think
The mosley fight cant have much acclaim but the alvarado win is legit (even though Alvarez is way bigger)
Alverez vs. Mayweather on paper looks gd but lets get real. Alverez has a lot of work to do. He has solid basic skills and is a strong 154, but he relies to much on his power and he fights robotic. Mayweather would beat him in a dull decision
Canelos not ready for Mayweather. He'll i think him vs Cotto is 50/50 and Trout ****s him. Golden Boy is taking a huge gamble if they put young Nelo in with a tough body. Against Mayweather he'll get his head boxed off but he'll remain undamaged. Against Cotto he could be in for hell.
First - Whom will fight with Floyd ? Guerrero ? Second - I'd be more interested to see a fight between Canelo and Trout than a fight between Floyd and Canelo.:yep
Canelo is simply to big and strong for gayweather and jotto. Canelo would trap mayweather in the ropes and break his scrawny arms with that body work and cotto is to small and slow. He'd have to walk through canelos bombs to even have a shot against him.
Canelo isn't ready yet. He hasn't even beaten a live body at 154, and the division is stacked. He doesn't deserve a Mayweather fight. I think he is good enough to test the waters. He would have beat the **** out of Cotto. I think he should go after Trout, or Bundrage. It's not like Golden Boy will not pay off the judges to give him a few rounds of padding. It's about time for Canelo to show what he can do against a live opponent. Get him Kirkland, Lara, Trout, Bundrage, Molina, etc.
