Somebody post that pick of Wlad with a cardboard cutout of Povetkin at a press conference.

Well looks like he 'wanted' to fight Povetkin twice before and won purse bids and organized pressers. Wlad's history with his displayed intention to fight Povetkin is pretty good if you ask me.

I'm still upset Teddy convinced Povetkin he wasn't ready to fight Wlad yet. I'll never get to see the world's number one non-British anti-Klitschko troll go down (by proxy) to him in the ring now.

    Oh definitely,

    but I mean now.

Put yourself in Wlad's shoes, would you want to fight Povetkin, after being messed around twice?

Wlad wants it more than any other fight out there right now.

The only reason his team would suggest it doesn't matter that much is because they don't want to give Povetkin the power to jerk them around and waste Wlad's prime time like Povetkin, and especially Haye, did before. He's not looking for any more long layovers at his age. It's technically a little different as Povetkin wouldn't be a voluntary defense, but the mentality behind it is similar I think.

I like that the animosity regarding this fight is picking up. It will contribute to the fight promotion and atmosphere.

P.S. Those claiming that Wlad is ducking Povetkin need some electricity treatment to their jelly brains...
