As a huge fan of Mosley myself, please lay-off the Mosley bull**** because that's embarrassing now. It was Mosley the one to turn down Mayweather over and over and the proof is out there, go fish for it yourself if the video I linked wasn't good enough.

The Top Rank / Bob Arum stuff is NOT getting old, it's a fact. Mayweather wouldn't negotiate with Arum as Arum won't negotiate with Mayweather. There are two sides to a story, not one. Try to look at both sides objectively and not emotionally. The discussion here isn't Mayweather vs Pacquiao, because if it was I'm the first to openly admit it was fully Mayweather's fault when he came up with endless ridiculous demands to blow it off.

JMM, never had a fight ever at 140
JMM never had a fight at 147

FM is the #1 welter and pound for pound champion

this is a ****ing joke of a win. get your head out of mayweathers ass. Just because JMM had the balls to fight Manny 4 times and do what he did, fails to improve the stock of a guy that beat someone that just jumped 2 weight divisions. seriously man, wtf? :patsch

Pretty much. I didn't see anyone giving Mayweather any credit for his domination of Marquez after Pacquiao fought Marquez a third and fourth time either. If it was the other way around, you would see endless threads about it ongoing as we type.

FMJ wasn't #1 welter nor P4P#1. As far as I remember he was coming off two years of retirement. Mosley was the #1 welterweight for beating Margarito who beat Cotto and Pacquiao as P4P#1. You need you take your head out of your ass.

What happened when JMM made the same move up(from Lightweight again) to face Pacquiao a third and fourth time? According to the likes of you he doesn't belong there when Mayweather is in the equation, right?

Name a fighter today who fights the best? Not PEDcquiao that's for sure. He fought a FORTY year old and fought people whom Mayweather destroyed. The only real prime fighter PEDcquiao fought was Barrera.

Donaire refuses to fight the top two in his division. He's too good for them he says.

The closes to an old school fighter is Khan. He fights everybody and in their back yard. Honorable mention to Froch as well. They don't know the word duck. Actually, put Sergio Martinez on this short list.

Same 'ol **** for all boxers.

You mean when JMM moved up to fight a guy that had already moved up from 112 pounds? that **** dont cut it. when JMM was a featherweight champion, Manny was a FLYWEIGHT.....lets just smash that argument into the ground that JMM was the little guy ever in fights vs Manny..whatever

Floyd was always the #1 welterweight at that time. PERIOD. because he was no longer active, that didnt take away from what he could do , especially to a guy jumping 2 weight divisions dumb ass.

Mosley 'ducked' Floyd (if you want to call it that) back when Floyd was still at lightweight and called Mosley out. Floyd wasn't even a big draw back then.

Every since the Oscar fight, Mosley called Floyd out year after year. Mosley was right there for a fight to be made and Floyd continuously ducked him, there's no argument.

I didn't say Bob Arum wasn't ever part of the problem, but this idea that he was the only reason Floyd avoided TR fighters is bull. Floyd never wanted or tried to get a fight with Cotto, Mosley, Margo, or Pac when they were with TR . Why? Because they were risky and he didn't have to - Goldenboy was feeding him easier opponents with a lot of money to be made.

Easy. Cuz he cant fight himself. So he has to settle for fighting others.

Mayweather started boxing as a light featherweight as an amateur, remember? This should smash your attempt at an argument to the ground where it belongs.

No he wasn't the #1 welterweight, maybe in your deluded mind but at the time everyone was looking forward to seeing how he would perform after two years of inactivity. Can't be the #1 welterweight inactive for two years while others are fighting their hearts out. Officially, Mosley was #1 Welterweight at the time and Pacquiao was #1 P4P. "**** the rankings, I'm getting pummeled in an argument so I will just insist he was #1 P4P and #1 Welterweight regardless of inactivity to make a baseless point", you remind me of my ex-girlfriend, nuthead. :hi:

Surely, Margarito was a draw in 2006 and 2007 for Mayweather, right? Why does this count for others but not for Mayweather, I wonder. Fact is, Mosley was called out long ago when Mayweather wasn't a draw and called out yet again after the Vargas rematch. Both attempts were turned down, justify it as you desire, it won't change a thing.

Ever since the Oscar/Mayweather fight, Mosley was coming off a loss to Cotto and Mayweather was retired for two years. When Mayweather returned, the fight did finally happen, correct?

Margarito was a pointless fight who's biggest win was Andrew "Six heads Zero chins" Lewis back when Mayweather was with Top Rank. Cotto was an inexperienced light welterweight and Mosley was never with Top Rank(he only signed with Top Rank to make the Pacquiao fight, ironic, huh?). Pacquiao is the only name in your list that Mayweather openly and clearly ducked by making outlandish demands.

Mosley called Mayweather out on national TV and got his ass waxed for his bad behavior. Cotto and Mayweather is the about the same age so if Cotto can't keep his game up then thats on him. If he was so-called diminished when he met Mayweather then that shows that his skills was lacking all the time. Margarito never could fight. His whole game was to beat you with his face. He knew he wasn't **** himself, thats why he tricked out his wraps. That was a **** fight for Mayweather and he knew it and I don't blame him. The man is in the business of boxing and he knows his business. His net worth right now is 115 million. Thats not too shabby for a young man from the streets. To tell the truth, I don't know why he didn't beat Packies ass. I don't think it was because of Packies skills. Anybody with eyes know better than that. The man has never fought a **** fight and he will never give an opponet an overage of advantages. It just don't make sense. He paid his dues and made it to the top, now everybody trying to get a big payday off him. He got a right to pick and choose cause he earned it. :bbb
