Hype it.. floyd has made no decisions... which is most likely a lie.

Interesting.. Floyd Hype has Ellerbe quoted saying "Contrary to the bull**** reports out there, Floyd has made no decision on who he is fighting. He's enjoying the holidays and spending time with his family. We're still looking at a number of opponents for May 4th,". I assume they're still trying to gauge the responses of a Guerrero fight.

Floyd willl get a lot of hate for this. But he's only one fight away from pleasing the crowd. Take a look at the Pac-Mosley fight. People hated that fight with good reason. Then Pac went on to fight Bradley and Marquez on separate occasions. Those are decent choices. Bradley is a hungry lion who was at the top of 140. Marquez is an ATG. You can't say those were poor choices.

Whatever. I will always boycott Floyd and Pac's fights since they won't fight each other. But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy seeing Guerrero get schooled. There's always a silver lining.

    Ducking Canelo as expected.

Floyd being Floyd again, taking the path of least resistance, least money, and least fan appeal

If Floyd don't fight Guererro will May get stripped of his WBC WW Belt?
If Floyd don't fight Trout will May get stripped of his WBA JMW Belt?
(^Anyone know If Mayweather is being forced into the RG fight?)

I haven't seen much of Guerrero, only part of the fight he had with Berto. Why do most people sound completely dismissive of his chances against Floyd? His record doesn't look too bad, although I don't see much big names on it. From what I saw of the Berto fight he looks like a rough southpaw infighter. He didn't look amazing, but he didn't look too bad either -- he did a good job of roughing Berto up and smothering him on the ropes, although some of his tactics looked illegal, so they wouldn't work as well with a strict referee.
