    Title says it all.

Who do you consider the ATG's active from 1980 to the present? Who are HOF but not quite ATG? Who would make it onto your Greatest 100 P4P from this era?

I'll hazard a stab at this:

ATG (no particular order, who would probably make it onto my top 100 list somewhere):
    - Sugar Ray Leonard
    - Roberto Duran
    - Thomas Hearns
    - Marvin Hagler
    - Pernell Whitaker
    - Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    - Manny Pacquaio
    - Juan Manuel Marquez
    - Lennox Lewis
    - Evander Holyfield
    - Mike Tyson
    - Larry Holmes
    - Julio Caesar Chavez
    - Bernard Hopkins
    - Roy Jones Jr.
    - Michael Spinks
    - Alexis Arguellero
    - Aaron Pryor

    HOF:
    - Michael Carabjal
    - Humberto Gonzalez
    - Nassem Hamed
    - Ricky Hatton
    - Joe Calzage
    - Eric Morales
    - Kostya Tszyu
    - Marco Antonio Barrera
    - Felix Trinidad
    - Oscar de la Hoya
    - Shane Mosely
    - Azuamah Nelson
    - Mike McCallum
    - James Toney
    - Khaosai Galaxy
    - Ricardo Lopez
    - Wilfredo Gomez
    - Miguel Cotto
    - Sumbu Kalambay

    Who am I missing?
Who shouldn't be there at all?
Who is in the wrong category in your opinion?

P.S. Active fighters such as Klitchkos, Ward, Martinez etc will probably make it onto one or the other list in future but Im not sure where to place them yet, might be too early.

I'd switch Pryor, Arguello and Spinks with Morales, Barrera and Trinidad/Oscar myself.

Arguello and Spinkshave tobe considered all-time greats. I'd rate them clearly ahead of De La Hoya, Morales, Barrera, and Trinidad.

To the thread starter, Wilfredo Gomez is an unquestionable all-timer. I'd put Nelson, McCallum, and Toney in there too. Kalambay and Chang perhaps, but I'm partial to them. Some might say otherwise.

Canizales, Qawi, Curry, Starling, Bowe, Davila, Tapia, Watanabe, Wright, Roman, Lora, Arbachakov, Hernandez, Taylor, Norris, McGirt, Laciar, Zapata, Yuh, Moon, Zaragoza, Wilfredo Vazquez, Rafael Marquez, Israel Vazquez, Casamayor, Castillo, Corrales, Sahaprom, Wonjongkam, and Moorer in the hall of fame category. I think there are levels within that category, however. Some of them rate clearly above the others (Canizales, Qawi, Curry, etc. over Cotto, Vazquez, Corrales, and Marquez for example). If you're going to put somebody like Ricky Hatton in there (and if Gatti actually made it in this year), names like Eubank, Benn, and Jackson wouldn't be out of place. Even Arce and Montiel in that case.

I haven't thought it over too much but I'd say Benitez and Rafa Marquez are HOF's.

Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Wilfredo Gomez, Azumah Nelson, James Toney, Mike McCallum, and Oscar De La Hoya are ATGs. IMO.

Myung Woo Yuh, and virtually every other fighter listed by JMP are HOF material.

    I agree with your list.

Bowe is borderline HOF. He really only had one opponent on his CV and that was little Evander. And Bowe was never considered the best HW in the world (LL was). But it may still just be enough for HOF. Jermain Taylor, Norris, Moon, Sahaprom, Ayub Kalule, Wonjongkam, Moorer, Eubank, Benn, Collins, De La Hoya, Wright, Mosley, Mugabi, and Thobela fit well in HOF.

    Sanchez? he is an ATG

I mean, all of his world level fights were post 1980 (and especially considering you have Duran in there too)

Amazing Leonard is considered best of the 80's based on 12 fights.
