What would have happened if the unlucky cut didn't happen? To me, it looked like Klitschko would have punched himself tired. Charr wasn't going down, except that once when he was punched in the backhead, and we could see in the third and fourth that Charr was catching up to him... And when it was stopped, he was full of the kind of aggressive anger that champions are made of. In his next fight, he won by a round 1 KO. I'm seriously thinking that Charr has a future in HW boxing as a champ and I'm not trolling, 'cus honestly, trolling is boring and I respect Charr a lot as a fighter. The guy got balls.
Charr's the real deal alright. Watch Vitali retire without giving him a rematch, in which he rightfully deserves.
I don't think Klitschko dare to take a rematch, after how that cut saved his ass last time... He was clueless on how to handle Charr when Charr went wild.
I don't mean tire, like, panting helplessly for his life, I mean tired in the sense of slowing down enough for the younger Charr to give him more of the whoopings he gave him in the fourth round.
Cmon ppl....let's not start this **** already. Vitalis gotta fight Haye or he's ducking. He's gotta fight Fury or he's ducking, Solis rematch since Solis was actually winning the event and Charr too. The guy is 41 ****ing yrs old. How many fights does he have too ****ing make before he's allow to graciously retire without being a ducker? Charr put up a good fight and he's definitely a great fighter. I would be thrilled if he becomes a future champion. He's a good guy, a great success story and overall he's good for the sport, but he didn't win a round vs the 41 y/o champ, and doesnt deserve a rematch. Had he gotten Vitali 3 yrs ago, been ****ing him up, maybe winning 3 of the first 4 rds, and then he got stopped on cuts, yeah, Vitali's a ***** ass ducking *****, but the FACTS are that Vitalis 41 yo, has a seriously bad history of injuries, and was beating Charr badly before the stoppage. Please stop. Vitali owes NO ONE nothing. And if he KOs Haye, and Fury, or if he simply retires without fighting again, he's got NOTHING to be ashamed of. NOTHING.:nono
Vitali is awesome, which just makes it unfair how great of a win that was robbed from Charr's resume. I look forward very much to see Charr fighting in the future. Vitali should give Charr the rematch and then retire, he don't need to fight everyone, only Charr.
Charr couldnt beat Vitali in September, and Vitali has bigger fish to fry if he's gonna fight on. Most fans thought it was a wasted defense in the first place. I disagreed b/c I saw Charr the way many are coming around to seeing him now. He's a little eccentric, but he's got some gifts, and he could become a dominant force in the POST K2 era. Let Vitali retire in peace and don't feed the trolls. Vitali gets far too much unwarranted and dksab hate around here. Charr put up a brave effort and could become #3 in the division next yr. Let it work itself out while Vitali moves FORWARD with his life.:thumbsup
Charr is no Rahman...No chance, none. He hasnt faced anyone of substance and KOing journeyman isnt going to get him anywhere fast.
Charr lost every round against Vitali. No chance. He was trying to mimic Solis tactics against Vitali and, like Solis, he was put on his ass once he tried to open up.
