117-111 Cunningham, how the hell did Adamek win?

Adamek has been in two of the biggest robberies of the year.

I had the fight 7-5 for Cunningham but some of you scoring no rounds for Admek are worse than the judges and should not be whining.

Well, everyone there said it was close and Adamek closed off stronger at the end. I would've been OK with a draw or a cunningham victory. Don't see the cunningham landslide because he landed more but he was backfoot and took bigger shots. Again everyone on TV and trainers say its close but ESB doesn't. DUnno

By close rounds, do you mean the ones where Cunningham took 160 seconds of it and then Adamek tries to steal it with a big late flurry?

    No.

    Adamek isn't Sugar Ray Leonard.

Realistic scoring range goes down to maybe as narrow as 117-111 or even 116-112 Cunningham. No more.

That's how many "close" rounds there were. (like the 1st, for instance)

Oscar De La Hoya cannot believe how many rounds Adamek wins by throwing late flurries that never land

Cunnigham fought 20 seconds a round and there's an old boxing adage that says "you can't win a fight backing up." Cunningham backed up the entire night and did his Wladimir Clinchko impression directly after landing some of his best shots a la Carlos Molina. I have very well-documented problems awarding fighters victories who do this. Adamek won the fight, period. I don't care if the Polish coalition changed the scorecards at the last second to reflect this or any other underhanded **** that went on, Adamek got the victory as he should have.

I had both fights pretty clearly for Chambers and Cunningham by 7-5 margins, I think your 11-1 is a bit harsh and mine may come out a little weak.

A draw wouldn't be that bad although I far from agree.

Nah there was his fight with Walker in between this and the fight with Chambers but this decision is a disgrace
