Draw would have been fine

First of all, I think Adamek lost. He never looked great at heavyweight and since Vitali he doesn't have the same confidence and throw as much anymore.

HOWEVER..... this is what respected people of the business said about the fight:

Roach: Even until the last round
Flores: Cunningham by a round or two towards the end
Nazim Richardson: Said it was close
Bloodworth: this guys ****ing ******ed but he also said it was close

Ok, so nobody really said it was clear cunningham towards the end. Adamek came on stronger at the last two (could make a case for cunningham 12) rounds. Not saying Adamek should win this fight, but Cunningham did fight back foot and take some good shots.

Adamek is done, though. He has no business with Klitschko! The money would be nice but I think he'll seriously get hurt.

 

Draw is fine biut close fight means it could go either way.
Not an abominable decision.

But Adamek looked good in chopping down Walker.

Pulev will beat Adamek and he will retire and Cunningham will fight on. Steve is good and will get better.

 

Nobody is calling for an Adamek victory. Like I said I thought he lost. But once again ESB gives Adamek 1 or 2 rounds a fight and think their some kind of expert judges when all of the most respected figures in boxing have it close towards the end.

It wouldn't really be FINE Adamek only won 1 clear round which was the 11th, USS won atleast 5/6 CLEAR rounds, so that means you have to give Adamek EVERY close round just to get a draw...

 

I was telling my wife that Cunningham won the fight but I could live with a draw since they were fighting on Adamek's backyard when suddenly Buffer came with the " correction " to the scores. Pity.

 

I had Adamek up by a round with one tied. That said, Cunningham won more clear rds, 4 to Adameks 3.

A draw would have been a fair result, but either fighter losing by more than 115-113 is an insult imo.:-(

Chris Byrd mirrors my opinion.

"I had him 7-5 in a close fight, it could've been a draw...."

Cunningham should've won, but a draw would at least have been acceptable for a final deciding fight.
