Tor Hamer is too small in my opinion, haven't seen tonights fight but it would be interesting.

He's the same size as Glazkov, Jennings and bigger than Perez or Boytsov.

In his case, the problem isn't the size of the dog so much as the size of the fight in the dog. :-(

Well his wins over Bakhtov, Oloukun and Airich are more meaningful than Hamer imo but at least he got some TV exposure and more people are aware of him now. He was the invisible prospect in comparison to Pulev, Helenius, Mago, Jennings, Fury, Price before today.

I agree with you on that. He's promoted by K2 right? I think they'll bring him up well. I made a prediction here in the past - that they will set him up for Vitali's WBC title when he retires.

No Titov and Pchelnikov promote him.

No. He's got a **** promoter. Hence many of his fights constanly falling through. He was actually supposed to fight Peter last year only for his team to **** it up.

Uh, Hamer was extremely competitive with Glazkov for three of the four rounds they fought.

So if Glazkov is the real deal, Hamer isn't to be dismissed utterly...although his quitting is going to leave a foul taste in fans' mouths for a long time to come. It'll be a long hard road to get beyond that and regain some respect, if he can.

Bakhtov was more meaningful, and is his crown achievement to date.

Beating Airich isn't that big a deal, honestly if you can avoid gassing and getting pummeled like Pala did he isn't that tricky. Just a slow banger. What's impressive in Glazkov's case is how comprehensively he did it. Charr's quick and easy KO1 does unfortunately detract from it a bit.

I'd only strongly disagree with elevating Gbenga over Tor Hamer. Granted, I understand he's better than his record looks, but still.

Too bad that one of the best prospect is nowhere to be seen. I'm talking about Platov. He looked impressive in most of his outings.

    I saw the fight.

Did he have an explanation for quitting like that?

    It was disgraceful at best....
