    Quick run-down on the principals:

Abner Cotto is the younger brother of Miguel Cotto (and much younger brother of Jose Cotto). He's a decent prospect, but seems to have a question mark around his chin after stepping up a bit.

Sergio Perez is a trial horse of almost 40 who's never been stopped in 40 bouts despite having faced a slew of decent names, from prospects to champions. His best victory is over a young Hugo Fidel Cazares via KO1, but that was thirteen years ago. His next best is a shutout of Jose Beranza back when Beranza's W column was significantly higher than his L column...but even that was nine years ago.

Cesar Seda is a southpaw and a very skilled operator. He gave Omar Narvaez maybe his toughest super flyweight title defense, before moving up two weight classes. (skipping bantamweight altogether)

Lorenzo Trejo used to be a gatekeeper who could hold his own with the best in the lower divisions and spring the odd upset, but he's now 35 and lost seven of his last eight - knocked out six times.

    Round 1

Seda works in and jabs at Trejo. Guard up. Seda drops a looping left to the body and digs a hard right hook on the other side and Trejo is down hard. He is wincing noticeably while pushing himself onto all fours, and worse the rest of the way to his feet. Seda again leaps in and hits the body with a combination. Trejo is down again. He beats the count once more and Seda pops him with a quick southpaw 1-2 to the midsection. Trejo is down again, but soon bailed out by the bell.

    10-6 Seda

    Round 2

Body shots by Seda. Trejo pins his arms together and tries to scurry inside to lean up against Seda. Instead Seda greets him with a well-timed right hook to the side of the head. Trejo is sent stumbling to one side and goes down. Over!

    KO2!!

Puerto Rican teenager Jose "Wonder Boy" Lopez is 5-0 (5).

Dominican former lightweight Eric "Mayansito" Gotay is 3-0 with a single knockout.

    Someone's 0... :D

Whoever set this opponent up for Seda Jr. should be fired. With 24 pro fights, he needed a real opponent, not one with 25 losses. He got no work in at all. He may never headline an HBO fight or Showtime, but that's doing nothing positive for Seda Jr.
