I don't disagree. But Chang would have been past his best possibly when the fight could have taken place which makes it more interesting.

And Lester on the Ricardo Lopez scale 0 Ricardo Lopez being a terrible amateur, to 1 Ricardo Lopez being a perfect fighting machine where do you place them. I think Chang OKs a .95 and Yuh is like a .80?

 

I would agree, and Yuh is tidy and put shots together well anyway.

But I still wouldn't say it's a massive edge. Past prime sloppy Chang could well spoil and crowd his way through the fight, even against Kittikasem he absorbed bombs in the middle rounds like nothing, and when stunned early he was still quick enough moving forward to grab hold like the limpet he was.

Anyway, problem with past prime Chang is that his upper body reflexes have diminished, meaning the seamless blend of offence and defence are only sporadically there, so far more hittable. And his foot speed has slowed but more importantly while he can come in he's less capable at springing back out of range.

Yuh decision is a safe bet there. Against Chiquita he had no problem pressurising him was just not sharp enough to get his shots of first, Gonzalez could read him and was stronger and fresher. Yuh would be as well, but I think Chang might still have had enough pizazz to pull it off, close as Hell.

Prime for prime? Chang just too good at everything. Would no doubt be a brilliant fight.

Chang takes it hands down for opposition as well. IMO he did deserve to take a title in a second weight class, he was exactly the same against Sot as he was against Chiquita but in with a man more ravaged than him.

Man, I am convinced Chang is a horrific matchup for Lopez.

Lopez would beat Yuh on points.

 

If I remember correctly Gamez' movement and unwillingness to engage seriously bothered Yuh.

Torres fights nothing like that.

Yuh on poins in a tough fight.

Yuh has the chin to withstand Torres' power and stamina to outwork him in the exchanges.

 

Nice analysis. Torres would hurt him like no other though IMHO.

Shik is underrated.

Very, very close fight.

I'm slightly leaning toward Mr. Myung's short counterpunches on the inside and a sound defense over Shik's power and non-stop aggression.

But I wouldn't argue much if anyone picked Shik to win this one.

 

Yuh beats all of 'em and then moves up to Featherweight and takes out Nelson.

Me too. No, he didn't beat a great level of opposition during his time, but he beat every man put in front of him. No more can be asked.

 

Yuh is a little shorter and crisper with his shots and he should prevail, but it would be a war. Yuh would need his massive dome to survive this one.

Big step up in class for Ricardo and he never looked up to it against the 108 pounders (of course he moved up past prime, but still we don't have much else to go off).
