Well not all matches are that bad and it's not like people are going to give credit for adameks "victory".

I'm not sure every other sport is as corrupt. They're all a bit dodgy but boxing is the only one which has outright, blatant robberies every week.

 

We get guys making threads like this after every controversy. They throw their toys out of the pram, vanish for a week and then come back like some sort of returning hero.

 

It was bull**** but everybody saw who one. **** the fight, what really pisses me off is Cunningham got jobbed out of pay days. When I saw the condition his daughter was in it made the end result worse for me.

 

You can argue that every sport that has any sort of judging system is prone to robberies. And arguably just as corrupt behind the scenes.

Had the original scores held, none of us would be complaining, and some of us would have been calling it a FOTY candidate.:rofl

The Barnes card change made this result so egregious. Had her score been read as 115-113 initially for Adamek, instead of being changed from 115-115 to 115-112 only to be recorded as 115-113, most ppl on here wouldve been bothered but not calling for investigations and crying on about how they're through with the game.:rofl

I've said for many years that all sports (to a some degree) are about 20%* like pro wrestling :yep

* the idea that reffing and the politics or money do not always render fair outcomes, not that it's this exact percent

Son do you think corruption and pollitics in Boxing are new? Go back to the Mobsters, Cus D'mato vs the IBC, Don King, Bob Arum all the way through to the modern day.

Also, My Mum is Scottish. I spent a considerable portion of my life there.
