I would suggest retirement to be honest, maybe take an easy fight Paulie has a strap easy work light hitter whos there to be hit, take that fight win that title and call it a career.

I honestly think the more he presses forward with boxing the more knocked out your going to see him, that KO was brutal I think worse than Ricky Hatton

You would know more about the average idiot than I'll ever dream of, you are one. Go watch the fight again and listen to Roy Jones' commentary properly as he defines the bob and weave style of head movement for you. If it's still confusing, lay off the grocery sandwiches and subscribe to a free local hut of a gym.

Pac can bob and weave but Floyd is going to be out of range and shooting that jab to make Manny commit. I also see Floyd smothering Manny on the inside a lot as well. I see Manny landing but not enough to trouble Floyd. Its a bad style match up for Manny my friend. That's just my opinion.

Then why do *you* keep bringing up Tyson?

There are NO comparisons to be made between Pacquiao and Tyson in terms of offense or defense. Mike was on another level...

Floyd is going to treat Manny just like he treated JMM. Bet on that.

WTF does Roy Jones know about defense?

He's been KTFO'ed how many times now?

I guess we can now count you among the ranks of the ultra orthodox *******s...

You think Pac has no defensive skills? It was the defensive skills of both Pac and Marquez in their third fight that made it such a hard fight to score because there was a lot less clean shots landed than some people on this board seems to think.

I thought Pac should have retired when boxing became his part time night job.

*I think the word you meant to use is compares.

Tysons head movement was legendary......Pacquiao's is OK.....they shouldn't be compared......and my point stands.

I don't want to get off topic the fact is Pacquiao is a great fighter, great offense but lacks a defense and Mayweather has a ATG defense and a great offense and is the FAR superior boxer.

I think there are some glaring holes in Pacquiao's defense. Namely his susceptibility to the right hand and his inability to deal with a good jab.

come on man for ****s sake yea i admit manny in 2009-2010 was at his peak and he would have likely give floyd a damn good fight given his amazing athletic ability at the time but would have still lost due to mayweathers superior ring IQ, speed and skill, but if they fought now? an ageing less mobile floyd would UD him much easier and thats a ****ing fact

To be honest Pacquiao doesn't really have a defense, some feints but that's about it.....he doesn't need it too often because his offense is so good and he had a great chin (that may not be the case going forward we will have to wait and see)

But you know anyone who fights Mayweather and wants to win needs to take care of their defense or they will eat shots all night because look Mayweather has a great defense and a great offense too.

Pac fought Hoya and Hatton in order to propell himself to be a superstar. After he reached that status Marquez, Mosley both had to leave GB in order to land fights with Pac.

Mosley a co-promoter for GBP had to leave his own promotional company and sign with TR in order to get the Pac fight. Marquez had to sign with TR in order to make fight #4.

You state that Mayweather doesn't commit to his punches to hurt Pac, if that were the case then that would also allow Mayweather to be in better defensive positon and would not be landed heavily by Pac. You can't have it both ways where Mayweather is getting tagged but also not commiting punches to hurting Pac.

It's definitely a bad style for both in my opinion. If a southpaw as pathetic as Zab Judah was able to make a point for three rounds, I expect Manny to do far more.
