I just watched Chavez Jr-Martinez again. Sergio was done and got saved by the bell

LOL at Sergi-hoes and Chavez haters claiming the contrary :rofl

After getting up from the KD, Sergio was almost out on his feet, all dizzy, bleeding like a mfer, no gas left and throwing pitty pat punches with absolutely NO power behind, desperately trying to keep Chavez off him who was still tagging him and hurting him BAD with each punch.

Jr was walking him down like Sergio was some little girl. Maravilla had NO POWER left. He was a goner. He was lucky it was the last round, another round more, heck, another half round more, and he would have gotten KTFO

Chavez haters get a boner when they say that Martinez whooped Chavez for 12 rounds, well Chavez did more damage to Martinez in 1/3 of the last round that Sergio did to Chavez during the whole fight.

Remember kids, Martinez was the one who was inches away from getting KTFO, not Chavez :deal

In the aftermath Martinez needed 8 stitches on his left eye, 2 staples on his head, and he ended with a broken left hand and ligament damage to right knee. Hardly an easy fight, huh?

Now Sergio is a draw, but instead of taking the lucrative match against Canelo, he's fighting a random journeyman in April instead. The same guy who was begging on his knees for a mega-fight for years now is turning down career high paydays, strange isn't it? :think

It means the Chavez match took a lot from him, much more than we imagine, for this to happen. It's understandable since knee surgeries at 37yo are no laughing matter, Sergio will probably never be the same athlete again, perhaps his elite days are over and he'll just fight bums from now on

Anyway, congrats to ganja kid, as even in defeat, he managed to brutalize his opponent and probably destroy his career :good

    MArtinez is an overrated fighter.

Chavez beats him in a rematch.

So over rated he won 10 of the 11 rounds before Chavez finally landed something hard on him.

    Sit down, child.

He's not overrated. Chavez is just one extremely tough mfer

I believe Chavez will beat him in the rematch too, Sergio wont be the same and Chavez already knows he can murder Sergio if he lets his hands go

    DAMN DUDE IDK

You see how many hard ass punches he took after the KD, I was more amazed at the punishment Martinez took after the KD and how hurt he was and how he kept trying to punch out of it, instead of hugging, JR actually got tired of throwing after he connected so many after the KD..

Martinez has a beard, or very good recovery time, those punches after the KD JR landed where sick and Martinez ate them

Youre an idiot. If martinez was done after being knockdown then why chavez couldnt stop him when he had 1 minute left to go? Martinez didnt run after he got up from a knockdown. Sh4t martinez didnt even hold on in which lampley and jones both say martinez wont clintch. Martinez went toe2toe with chavez with 1 minute left in which martinez in 10 or 5 seconds got the better of the exchanges. Only a ******ed fool will say martinez was done cause chavez again had a minute left not 5 seconds left like in the chavez sr vs taylor 1st fight.

    LOL...

Had Martinez not injuried his hand and knee then he might have stopped Chavez.

You need to stop smoking the crack...

    :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Locard, since you re-watched the fight so carefully, did you not notice that the only reason Chavez even landed that punch is because Sergio's knee buckled first, causing him to drop his guard?

    - And then he still punished & humiliated the over-priviledged hyped job for the last 30 seconds.

What a waste of internet space .....

He was doing NOTHING to Chavez with his punches, he had no gas or power left, he didn't get the better of nothing moron, go watch the fight again, Chavez was laughing that **** off and Sergio was getting rocked every time. Sergio was fighting out of heart alone, and the only reason Chavez didn't finish him was due to lack of time and because he himself was very tired.

Sergio was done, he would have gotten KTFO in the 13th round if there was one

Yeah, since Martinez never ever drops his guard on purpose :nut

He got caught because he got overconfident, period. Had he kept using his footwork he would have been safe, but tried to go toe to toe with the bigger guy with the concrete chin and got his ass handed to him for the remaining of the round, which fortunately for him was the last one. Sergio must thank his lucky stars

Who won the majority of rounds? Sergio

Who was the superior fighter for most of the time? Sergio

WHO STILL GOT HIS ASS WHOOPED AND ALMOST DESTROYED IN JUST HALF A ROUND AND WAS A FINISHED MAN AT THE END OF THE FIGHT? Sergio

    ejem...

It's just that it irks me a bit that some of the phaggots here make it sound as if Sergio could have won this match while eating a sandwich, which is so far from the truth

I cant help but think they're just rabid (probably racially motivated) Chavez' haters
