Oleg Platov? He's only fought once in the past 2 and a half years.

Having a hard time figuring out why Hamer simply stopped fighting in the 4th rd.

Glaskov wasnt landing anymore than he had previously, that is until Hamer completely quit offensively. :huh

I mean, could it be that he landed his best punch, and just didnt see that it was effective, and cuz of that, he doubted himself and just decided he wouldnt delay the inevitable and damned sure he wasnt gonna get on his bike.:think

You make a point about the up and coming heavys, there is a lot of them.

The networks seem slow on working these guys into the mix.

As for the Hamer - Glazkov fight, Glaskoz looks like the real deal. This is the only time I have seen him, but I like more than Pulev, whom I think look very mechanical.

I think Hamer new after the 3rd round that Glazkov was going to give a severe beat down.

I thought Hamer did some of his stuff in R1&2. They both sort of tried framing it as their style of fight and wound up nullifying one another, in two very close frames.

Lo Pan vs. Egg Shen light beam duel.

Then in the 3rd, Glazkov began to establish himself.

In the 4th, he whooped some buttock(s).

By the 4th, it was :eek:tta

Oliver didnt quit on his stool like a *****. Even with the breakdown, he answered the bell. I felt he was looking around the ring for some crack, and that's why, but he did still come out.

    nope.

the going "started" to get tough , and Tor quit.

i've seen alot of boxing, and this was one of the worst quit jobs ive ever seen by a guy who hadnt even received any punishment. it ranks #2 behind bert cooper quitting after 2 rounds against Foreman. stating "george is a big guy, i didnt want to get hit with too many of those shots". and the commission withheld his purse for non performance

    LOL yourself cutie pie!

I stand by what I said. Hamer had a chance and he did what he did. Saying a man has no chance is the sure sign of someone who isn't realistic.

    lol

I thought Hamer was gonna WIN! Knowing now what happened, I laugh at myself. Based on what happened, he really had no chance. But no one can know that beforehand.

Surely, Tor didn't look like Thor against Glazkov.

Wilder and Jennings are the best American prospects at this point. Arreola is the best complete US heavyweight and the only one in top 10-15 of the world. Tony Thompson is close to that.
