Could any fighter have taken a flush shot from Julian Jackson?

thomas tate went 12 rounds with him, a guy who roy jones stopped in two.
but ive not seen the fight, so dont know how tate fought and how many big shots he took (if any.)
herol graham was one one of my favourite fighters, growing up.
i remember the fight with jackson, which took place in spain as the british boxing board would'nt let jackson fight in the UK due to his defective eyesight.
herol was beating the pants off him, the referee was gonna stop the fight at the end of the fourth as jackson's eye was almost closed, and then he landed that shot.
herol was out cold the second the punch landed, and stayed out for scary few minutes, not often you see that.

If a Reggie Johnson punch could knock Toney clean down then why the hell couldn't a Julian Jackson's?

I never said he would, i just pointed out that Reggie Johnson knocked Toney down with a left hook and he didn't hit anywhere near like Jackson.

 

Vito Antuofermo is a possibility. Ridiculous chin, despite his tendency to cut easily.

 

I agree but it would've been a great fight while it lasted because Toney would go toe to toe with Jackson. maneuvering while trying to land his own shots and avoiding Jackson's quick and powerful punches. If anything, he could tag Toney a couple times as Toney wasn't IMPOSSIBLE to hit and Jackson was as accurate as anyone. quicker and sharper than someone like Iran Barkley for one.

damn i wish this fight happened. i'd rather see jackson vs toney than hopkins vs toney. jackson vs hopkins would've been interesting

 

OP, I think you're confusing 154 with 160. JJ's power was not as devastating at middleweight.
