    Scene it :good

Interesting move, Gallagher has slipped a lot as a trainer lately, I have it on reasonable authority that another of his bigger names is getting a bit of training elsewhere too....

Bearing in mind that Arnie is part of the inner sanctum at Allegedly Towers, could a switch of promoter be in the offing too?

Crolla had to leave Arnies because he left Allegedly for the Hattons....

Must admit I didn't see this coming at all, I'd probably forgotten that Joe Murray existed.

Top lad is Arnie, hopefully this works out for both of them.

That's the second switch from Gallagher to Arnie recently, following Murderous Mark Heffron.

Too many average trainers in boxing. Sometimes you feel family members and mates just follow each other rather than looking for the best trainer, in the best conditions. It also seems incredibly easy to want to keep swapping trainers and blaming any hiccup on them.

Interesting move. I thought if Murray was going to change anything it would be his promotional ties. Good luck to him though he's a talented lad and a nice kid.

Why do you feel JGs forms dipped BB ?

    so true with Gallaghers boys.

Stephen Smith and Joe Murray are good technical boxers. There careers have floundered under Gallagher who is a good conditioner and can train aggressive fighters.

Liam Smith & Scott Quigg have excelled under Gallager as thats his style.

Murray was taught to box by joe I think. Any skills he's got at long range are down to joe as well surely?

I'd have changed both trainer and promoter personally, if I was him.

As for Gallagher, I think he got carried away with his success and didn't adapt as his fighters stepped up in class.

They're awfully easy to work out, work off the back foot, paw with the jab and then step in with the power shots as the guard opens up..... rinse and repeat all night.

Not sure whether it's him or the fighters themselves, but something's not right. Plodding feet, the guard is too high.... etc etc.

His domestic form is second to none though. I think I've got an idea why they sort of get stuck at British/ European level.

But gallaghers fighters do have strengths! There infighting is top class, and they are great to watch. Fitness is usually very good. I've spoke to joe about his training methods a bit over the years and he's very thoughtful and has some good idea's and definite method in what he's doing.

I think a big problem is their footwork, they all follow the opponent rather than close down the distance.

Could do with a bit of work blocking the uppercuts too.
