Message to Floyd haters? Who else is there for him to fight?

At this moment I don't see a better option at ww for Floyd than Guerrero.

Guerrero is a much tougher and stronger fighter than Bradley and it won't be an easy fight for Floyd as many people think.

A second fight with Marquez would've been pointless cuz Floyd would've "toyed" and eventually KO'd him imo ( see the first fight ) , so it wouldn't have been competitive.

Canelo should fight with Trout and then with Lara and beat them to prove that he's the boss at jr MW and Garcia should meet Matthysse :yep:hey

 

Martinez has always maintained he'll fight Floyd 20-80, no problems.. at 154lbs.

Canelo is a huge draw and is willing to give Floyd the lions share to fight him, has always maintained this.

Austin Trout deserves the fight, period.

 

Im fine with a guerrero fight.. considering he got out from jail and 1 year layoff.. as long as he fights again on the same year as what his team mentioned... he should fight Canelo next no ifs, ands and buts

Hmmm, lets's see come May 4th it would be a year since FMJ last fought. So after a year of inactivity including 3 months in jail maybe he should fght Clottey, Oh wait... - Maybe he should fight an aged, beaten, suspended Margarito, Oh wait... - Or Maybe an Old past his prime Mosley coming off two awufl performances, Oh wait... - Or Maybe Marquez, Oh wait... - FMJ already spanked Marquez and when the fight was made FMJ called it a Tune-up because he and everyone knew that it would be an easy sparring session. Yet your Idol goes to war with him 4 times...and robs JMM in their 3rd fight and in their 4th fight...well lets not go into details.

So after a year off and jail time....Guerrero can get a payday and an Ass-Whoopin'.

Floyd being the cash cow that he is could fight anybody he wants for some time now. Him not fighting them is his own choice. Reasons behind them are debatable but the fact still remains. It's still Floyd's call.

 

If you think Guerrero is a good fight for Floyd I'd probably say you're the Floyd hater.

The only angle is he gets to keep his green belt.

 

In order of preference I'd like Floyd to fight:

Canelo
Trout
Marquez
Bradley
Pac
Guerrero

 

That's fine, but it severely affects his perception as an ATG fighter. In no other sporting events do the best teams/players get to pick not only how often they compete, but who they take on.

Canelo is the only one open and yes he should have picked him but Canelo is huge, much bigger than Floyd and Floyd was in jail and hasn't fought since..... I'm guessing Guerrerro was picked to see if he still has it, if so it's Canelo next, if not he retires....I mean he's old, inactive and he might not have it anymore, he looked worse against Cotto than he ever has. I will be pissed if he looks good vs Guererro and doesn't fight Canelo/Martinez/Trout/Pac in late 2013 but as it stands there have been far worse tune ups by far more elite fighters, the Ghost is borderline legit, I still hate this fight though. I'll be happy seeing that clown Guererro embarrassed though, I'm sick of his yapping.

 

Specifically for the Cotto fight: Cotto and Arum sat ringside when Floyd destroyed Gatti. Arum then stated that Cotto wasn't ready for Floyd. **This is when both Floyd/Cotto were TR**. Floyd would go on to move up in weight to fight Baldomir and Judah before leaving Arum. Then all of a sudden Floyd was ducking guys (Arum fighters).

Floyd would've annihilated Margarito by the way. He fought a champion in Baldomir over a nobody in Margarito (Margs wanted the Floyd fight before his Cotto fight).
