Braydon Smith No defence, but he looks very entertaining. Sam Ah See Good skills and a nice punch. He can go very far.
On the local scene, giys like wes capper and brandon ogilvie. Hopefully paul fleming steps up his level of opposition and will tomlinson jas a crack at another belt.
Dwight Ritchie is a fantastic prospect but he needs to keep active and his handlers have had a hard time getting fights. I think if he is managed better he can go along way but his last couple of opponents have been woeful. Hopefully they get their act together and can get him some meaningful fights next year because he's a great talent but he needs to stay focused. Blake Caparallo is also looking at a break out year and i'll be very interested to see how he goes. Will Tomlinson should be in for a big year and these a heap of great fights out there for him to see if he can match it with the big boys:good
Cameron Hammond and Damien Hooper should have a good 12 months. Also if Mark Flannagan keeps improving 2013 should be a good year on the domestic stage for him.
Brandon Ogalvie, Luke Sharp, Jeremy Van Demien, Andrew Green, Sam Hogan and Wes Capper. All good prospects coming through in WA. We will see at the end of next year who has progressed.
I'm assuming Mr Butt isnt Australian and wants to know who might hit the world stage in 2013. Some of the guys listed have potential but its very unlikely they will be challenging for title belts next year. The obvious ones in this category would be Brad Pitt, Will Tomlinson and Blake Caparello.
In his pro debut? Good luck to him but can we really expect his presence to be felt in his first pro fight? Unless they're sending him in against some seasoned veteran or something is his first go, but that's not how it works. I'm just saying, it's great to look good against someone you're matched with to win, but I'm not sure it sends a message in your weight division.
Other than Colomban, I can't see any other giving him teething probs. 1. Sam Colomban (VIC) 2. Tim Hunt (VIC) * 3. Sam Ah See (NSW) 4. Todd Kidd (QLD) 5. Charlie King (QLD) 6. Fred Tukes (VIC) 7. Alex Ahtong (NSW) 8. Steve Maxwell (TAS) 9. Paddy Murphy (QLD) 10. Albert Howell (WA) 11. Ruben Kennedy (NSW) * 12. Adrian Campbell (NSW) 13. Robert Whaley (NSW) 14. Oscar Ledlin (VIC) 15. Nick Themelakis (VIC)
Point taken, not the strongest Aus weight division and I like your backing him. I'm just saying, even then, he won't be rushed in. I'd still be very surprised to see him fighting that top 5 in 2013. Again, nothing against the bloke and wish him the best.
