Where Pacquiao fought his arch rival, Floyd Mayweather seemingly does not?

Maybe I could have worded this thread slightly better, the main point is where there are potential rivals, Floyd opts to fight the ones who pose the lesser challenge, and I don't know that can even be disputed.

I love to watch Floyd fight, I am a sucker who watches him fight guys like JMM and probably even Guerrero, knowing full well that they are likely not able to compete with him.

But I also am a big enough fan to tell it like it is, I'd rather see him fight Alvarez or Martinez, and I think thats universal.

Word it better? After i took you to school? I've seen your posts for months, i know what your agenda is.

    Here is my thing.
Is one thing to dislike a fighter but don't make up lies and says pac does this and he does this when he doesn't. I can't resist seeing bull****.

That is flattering, I still answered your question mate, and no need to be disrespectful, this is a message board, no need to get your knickers all in a bunch.

Let me ask you one question tliang.

Put these guys in the order you prefer to see Floyd battle:

    Martinez
    Alvarez
    Guerrero
    Bradley
    Pacquiao
    Trout

Well quit playing dumb then. The reason why Floyd is NOT fighting Martinez is the same reason why Pac is not.

And no you didn't answer my questions.

    Thats fine.

Martinez is just sheer out of luck that someone who fights at his weight class won't fight him then.

I don't prioritize fighters as an opponent 2 divisions north of the guy they are said to be facing. So no Sergio.

    1. Alvarez
    2. Trout
    3. Bradley
    4. Guerrero
    5. Pacquiao

Thats fine, except Sergio is not two weight classes north of Mayweather, Mayweather captured a 154lbs title in his last fight and Sergio captured a 160lbs title in his last fight. So officially that'd be one division between the two.

Ok thanks, somehow I think you'd be more excited if Floyd were to sign to fight Martinez tomorrow, than Guerrero.

sergio is a middleweight who could easily make 154. he is saying in every interview that he wants floyd or pac in a big fight and that he is willing to make 154 you idiot.

broner should also step up and fight bigger better challenges in rigo, gamboa and mares, down the line, why not broner :bart the only difference is broner is like 3 divisions above donaire and floyd is 147 and sergio could make 154 which is a 1 division difference.

I guarantee if Floyd signs to fight Canelo people will say hes too green and that its a cherrypick Guerrero is a decent fight nothing amazing but it looks likely a Canelo fight happens after this anyway

    Maybe.

Does not change the fact that there is a bigger pull in the boxing fraternity for a Mayweather-Alvarez fight, than a Mayweather-Guerrero fight.

I respect that. Except only about 15% of fans think like this. The other 85 will say Floyd should of fought a 160. Which is ludacris
