    and that's the point. pac as tall and as big as floyd would fight anybody, even middleweights, the dudes started like minimumweight, he climbed like 10 divisions fighting guys like margarito who were taller, bigger, stronger. imagine pac standing 5'8 with 72 reach.

    Martinez is not in the same weight class as Floyd. Martinez left that weightclass bc he can't make the weight anymore.

    And second, Why would i be excited to see Floyd fighting Martinez tomorrow? Would i be interest in watching it? Yes. Which is why i have it at 4. But Why would i see one of my favorite fighters fight someone when he can't even reach 154lbs for? and possibly loses out of stupidity to a lessor fighter?

    Thats an outright lie. Martinez left the weight class to chase the bigger money at 160lbs. And always said he can make 154lbs comfortably and that he prefers 154lbs.

    Both Floyd and Manny weight 106 at 16 and both are still fighting around WW and JMW. Both are too small for JMW. So whats that say about their size???

    As for Floyd being 2 inch taller and longer reach. Manny got bigger calfs and ever growing head.

    Thats a respectable view on it. Alvarez might not have earned it yet. No matter how much we want to see it.

    Sergio certainly has, however. But if Floyd were to back down to 47' then, he is able to do that, I wouldn't be pleased with Guerrero, but thats just me...

    Well perhaps he should chase his way back down then huh? Instead of fighting Murray, he can fight cotto, trout, and GGG. Flat out lie. just like Ortiz walks around "170" but can make 147 and Martinez can too comparsion?

    He wants to fight Cotto, but Cotto don't want no part of him.. he called out Cotto as much as he did Floyd? :huh

    being taller, having longer reach gives you an advantage, not a bigger head

    @Mr. Magic

    Here is the thing. Martinez is an Optional fight for Floyd bc Martinez is too big for Floyd. He doesn't HAVE to fight him and shouldn't be knocked for it. Floyd is at his peak weight at 147 and the only reason why he won a title at JMW is due to his skills. But he is not effective at the weight, that is clear. Also he is getting old so haters expectations on him doing **** that they don't expect for others boxers will just not happen.

    perhaps you could've just said "Martinez is too big" instead of making a point about Martinez walking around at 170lbs and Floyd at 150lbs.

    Hasn't stopped Floyd from fighting guys who walk around at a significantly heavier weight before.

    Well that is just too bad for Martinez right? I'm sure hungry trout and GGG will be glad to have Martinez as a potential scalp.

    Thats fine, I agree that Floyd isn't anywhere near as effective at 154lbs as he is at 147lbs.

    That does not mean that I prefer to see him fight Guerrero over someone like Martinez based on the fact that he isn't an effective 154lbs fighter.
