Among boxing fans experts and critics, Pac or Floyd? Both are the best in their generations but I think Pac will be heralded as the better one being from Asia who who barely speaks English started at the lower weights but end up collecting belts along his way to the top. Plus he was one of the top PPV attraction alongside Floyd. Mayweather has the skills to be the GOAT but wasted it. I don't think there's any fighter from the early 90's until now who can beat Floyd but somehow he decided to avoid a few of them.

Pacquiao is a hero to the phillipines like Senna was a hero to Brazil.

He shall be remembered. Marquez also.

The kid who grew up on the streets in the phillipines weighing 115 pounds and grew up to be one of the best most devastating P4P fighters in the world.

why do you assume that if Floyd fights top fighters(risky fights) he beats them? maybe there is a reason why he avoids them.

Neither will be remembered more than the other because they will forever be linked for all the wrong reasons, they will always be known as the 2 guys that denied the fans, their sport & themselves the chance to make history & become immortal, that is the opposite of what legendary fighters worthy of being remembered do.

Morales, Barrera & Marquez were the greatest fighters of this era. They are exactly what real elite fighters should be.

Floyd will always be remember as the greater fighter.

I would say both but Floyd's talents are truly something amazing.

I can't think of a single "risky" fight Floyd legitimately avoided. Top Rank fighters do not count as fighters Floyd's ducked, for obvious reasons.

Paul Williams is the only opponent that comes to mind. But the argument against him, not being marketable, can be made.

You don't have to look no farther than boxing forums for the answer. When Floyd was inactive and seemingly retired again the majority of the talk still revolved around him. Hell even manny's *******s talk more about Floyd than they do manny.

How can so much revolve around a boxer who fought sparingly all while manny was on a consistent twice a year schedule?

Mayweather did all of this WITHOUT the heavy media backing that manny has.
