The last time Felix tried to make this thread, the results were admittedly deplorable IMO but everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Let's see if we can do better and with some legitimate, sound reasoning... Lennox Lewis blew everybody aside from Manny Pacquiao out of the water on the last one. Public Poll will be added this time, so there will obviously be far fewer anonymous bull**** votes.

I would've liked to include JMM, MAB and Morales, etc but there are only 10 options and I'm truly curious about how Lewis garnered 78 votes.

I`d flip a coin between Chavez & Whitaker.

They are the clear top 2 IMO... I voted Pernell based on the H2H fight even though I think the time, weight etc. suited Pernell more than Chavez. Its a toss-up really but today I go Whitaker.

Yeah that`s bizarre, the Mexican trio are greater & better than Lewis & its not close in my eyes, I think they`re ahead of Oscar as well... all 3 are a credit to the sport (& I don`t even like Barrera), real fighters.

    As you should.

There's no set criteria to follow. If you feel it's Jones because he was the best fighter ever, then vote Jones. Hopkins for his craftiness, accomplishments and longevity, go B-Hop. Arguable GOAT in-fighter, consistency and sustained dominance, Chavez Sr is a good choice. Value insane weight jumping and multi-division success, Pacquiao. Like 0'$, Floyd's the man, etc. If you place emphasis on resume and skill level, Whitaker obviously. :rofl

Write-in vote for The Cobra. "You're not a great, Carl" :verysad

What do you mean by "greatest?" Pac is likely the most accomplished but I don't necessarily think he's the greatest. Jones is the most gifted. Floyd is the best overall boxer. Maybe Chavez for me.

Lewis has to be in there due to what he did during his career.

Really ?... he was the best HW of his era but there were others that dominated far stronger divisions while showing a higher level of skill than Lewis. Even p4p I`d have Holyfield over Lewis but I think Lewis was a better HW.

Whitaker, Chavez, Jones, Morales, Barrera, Marquez, fmj, pac, Hopkins, DLH, Mosely & Calzaghe were all better than Lewis (IMO)

However you rate your ATG's. There's plenty to give consideration to -- it's what you value most. Whoever you vote for would mean they rate above everybody else on the list in an all-time sense, obviously.
