For the record I think a Joe Louis at 210 pounds would defeat wlad.

He'd be a rightful underdog but he has proven he can jab his way inside patiently stalking a bigger man.

Wlads jab is superior but Louis has quicker hands, better footwork and better timing.

More importantly he never let a fighter off the hook.

I believe Louis only needs one chance to let his hands go as wlad clinches and I think late in when wlad is tiring Louis will score a come from behind knockout.

I think Louis hits harder , quicker and more accurately than rocky and is big enough to compete with shw fighters.

You have now made a comment that we can all agree with no matter what side of the issue you are on....

I lean towards Marciano in this fight, although I believe an argument can be made one way or the other....Your logic....and I use that term loosely, adds nothing to this discussion so far!

  4. Hey chump, I point out the mere facts and the mere facts are Rocky has never lost whilst Wlad - who is a coward - has lost to bums. Rocky would smash Wlad literally out of the ring just like he did to Louis. It would get ugly.

I know you're being sarcastic :yep It's not that bad of a thread, however some of the recent posters touting RM over Wlad are beyond delusional :nut

I admired RM for what he accomplished as a somewhat undersized HW even in his era. However I'm not going to dismiss common sense and the basic laws of physics to favor Marciano over current (and recent) caliber of HWs.

In this era I don't think RM would be a fringe contender at HW. CW, yes... HW NO, NO, and NO !

i'm just gonna say that an alarming and obnoxious trend on the forum is people's opinions being dismissed on the grounds that:

-"you've never been been in a ring"
-"pfff, who have you ever sparred??"
-"****ing keyboard warrior! these are real fighters, who are you to judge them??"

what the **** does it really matter if people have sparred, fought, jerked off in a boxing ring? the forum is for people's opinions and analysis and it seems that far too often, the moment someone disagrees with another the automatic response is some of the nonsense above.

What we know about their careers.

    Wladimir lost and lost ugly.
Marciano has never been knocked out.

So if anyone can answer the obvious question,How do you beat a person who has never been undefeated, Go ahead and if you can't well its obvious that Marciano is the greater fighter.

It's more realistic that Vlad ices Marcy Anna with a jab. Vlad puts the Marce on ***** street with a jab and then knocks him out cold with the first power punch. :deal

Vlad suffers another anxiety attack before entering the ring against someone of Marciano's stature. He blows his wad by round 3 as a result and then suffers a Joe Walcott type, devastating KO (are there any other kind where Vlad's concerned?)
