Floyd will be talked about moreso on the fights he didnt take or the fact that he waited for certain fighters to get older and more shopworn so he can get in the ring with them.

pac will be remembered by his tards for normal fans would be how he cherrypicks the old, the beaten, and the drained. and for his haters would be how he got KTFO.

It's close atm. I think anyone who has the two in different leagues is barmy.

Floyd still has time on his side though and can really achieve something. The chances of Pac avenging his loss to jmm are slim to none. I reckon Pac is finished.

The question to me is what would Floyd need to surpass Pac at this point.

I say wins over Bradley, canelo and Martinez would move it beyond debate.

Yeah when people mention Joe Louis the last thing I'll think of is his 12 year dominance of the division. I'll certainly not think of the 25 defences (21 by ko i think). I'll never remember the way he destroyed Baer and Max in the rematch. I'd never remember his great come from behind stoppage over jersey Joe.

No the only thing I'll remember is the knockout loss to rocky.

Sadly (and being serious here) thanks to that movie: Coming To America, that really is the only thing casual fans know about Joe Louis.

People do tend to only remember the heavyweights. Even now all those MMA fans, all they know about boxing is Tyson.
