Marquez was weighing in as a welterweight on fight night since his 126 lb days. Floyd just has the longer tool aka the jab. He is also better athletically, which Marquez has problems with even against a guy like Norwood and Casa who was pretty faded.

In seriousness, the reason Floyd will always beat MArquez is becauseof styles. He's bigger, taller, faster, and they're both counter punchers. It's a terrible matchup. That and Marquez jumping up to WW for the first time, and drinking **** and looking like he was scarfing down donuts to gain weight didn't help matters.
Bigger man, better man, favorable fight conditions, very favorable style match up. It's really quite simple.
