Broner would be the surprised one...but they will take a good look at Rees and think the better of it..much you wanna bet?

Gav isn't Vincente Rodriguez, he isn't Willy Kickett, he isn't Eloy Perez... He can actually fight, and he was a light welterweight champion, Broner lost to a super-bantamweight...think about all of this before you count out Gavin

This doesn't look particularly good for VVarren. How has Burns missed the boat?

I know that its far from the font of all knowledge but Broner has two dates up, one in Feb and the other in May...both against the ubiquitous TBA.

I agree BTW, Rees has the skill and ring smarts to win this fight if it happens, IF it happens

  5. Hope the rock does well , but , broner is gonna school him and take him apart.

I thought Rees was mandatory for the WBA? This fight with Broner will probably have options etc if Rees did manage to pull off a victory. Fair play to Eddie for getting this fight. Hopefully he will have 2 more world champions in his stable come March.

  7. That's now ree's and brook who are gonna have to win by KO to get the belts as they ain't getting no decision on a GB card in america

Feb is a big month for matchroom

Someone just asked Eddie on Twitter why Rees got the fight ahead of Burns, Eddie replied "because he accepted it". :rofl

If it comes off, well done Rees for stepping up! F.eyes has looked like a clown in the whole Broner v Burns scenario, "Ricky is fighting in January so can't fight in feb" who the **** came up with that one???! Take a shite fight as an excuse not to take a big fight, ridiculous if true. Go on Rees show him what a real fighter does!

Broner will probably stop Rees late, then hopefully fight Burns next although its fairly Obvious burns camp dont want it even though id give Ricky a great chance of winning...

I agree, Rees will be in there till about 8-9 rounds, working away like a beaver! Lets face it, Ricky could have taken that slot if his team were brave enough, fighting someone in January excuse is a major cop out, FIsh would have been better saying that Ricky isn't ready yet, in a couple of fights time maybe! They don't want the risk, that's why I take my hat off to Rees !!

It's not a bad fight and I'm pleased for Gavin Rees he won't embaress himself.

Someone who HAS embaressed himself however is Ricky burns and fish eyes. What the **** are they doing? It's time people started putting serious ridicule on them now.
