I wonder what Burns thinks of all this ?

Surely ... he cannot be too happy to hear this news !

I think this is a great fight for Rees and im pretty sure he will do well too, not saying he will win but i think he puts up a pretty decent showing.

  2. ***** offered the feb date with broner to burns , but they turned it down on advice of some dickhead manager of his

Burns is fcuked as he won't be fighting anyone credible in jan

Made up for Rees, he's a fantastic little fighter who's sorely underrated and deserves a big fight like this.

Don't right him off, Gavin's an awkward ****er for any opponent, he could give Broner a tonne of problems when they fight.

Come on Gavin mate! IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL........... WHAT THE ROCK... IS.... COOKIN'!

    :D

I can see it being level going into the ninth when Gavin's workrate will start to slow and Broner will take two or three of the last four because of his accuracy.

Billy, Burns was offered the fight, his team declined, he missed out on a big fight.

Why did he not take the fight then Billy? Surely he had enough time to prepare after his December fight was called off? Or was the money too low?

So you don't mind if Broner says after the Rees fight I fancy one more opponent then Burns.

Life is about chances and sometimes you don't get many. Ricky Burns Ducked His Big Chance. Gavin Rees takes his place.

It's like Billy Nelson walking past McDonalds thinking ill just finish the shopping off before my Big Mac, then coming back to find McDonalds is shut.

You got to seize your chance in life not duck them.

Rees is going to get hammered unfortunately. He's going to really struggle on the inside and if he tries to box he's going to get picked off.

I don't like Broner but I don't he's ducking or avoiding Abril. Abril/Bogere has been set for a while, it's just been postponed because of injury.

The biggest fight for Broner is Ricky coz they areaway above the other LW's IMO,they will meet when it's ok with Ricky and not beforehand we don't need to jump when the yanks say so!
