Outline why he agreed to fight world number 67 Liam Walsh instead of pursuing Broner then.

A lot will depend on who Burns fights next instead? I will reserve judgement until that's announced, if it's anybody less than true world class then it will alienate a lot of people and it won't look good Billy.

How much longer do you think Broner will stick around at 135? He's young, American, unbeaten, brash, athletic, exciting and being chucked in Ring P4P lists already. There are much bigger fights than Burns out there for him at 140, it's only a matter of time before he moves up again.

I respect the fact that you obvious want to have Ricky in the best possible shape and as prepared as possible for the what would potentially be the biggest test of his career, so I'll give his team the benefit of the doubt one last time that they just want to get out in January and then look for the Broner fight in the spring/summer.

If it doesn't happen then, we all know who's to blame and who's ducking who. Even if Broner then says 'No thanks' and moves up to 140 or fights the Abril/Bogere winner or Vazquez instead I can't blame him because Ricky has had his opportunity.

Have a lot of respect for Billy who gets too much stick on here and Ricky who is a great guy and very underrated but it does look like they are ducking Broner, they were accused of ducking him the last time when he moved up and now he's offered the fight again he declines..

I'm just wondering if Barrera has officially retired?

Maybe we can see Broner-Burns in 2015 once he's worked his way through Walsh, Crolla, Mathews, Harrison and Gethin.

Someone ask Jim Watt if he fancies putting his microphone down, getting his boxing gloves out the bottom of his wardrobe and having a crack at Ricky. FW could be market it as the "Battle Of Scotland".

I'm gonna spend the next few months boiling down to 135lbs and sitting by the phone waiting for the call. I'm British, unbeaten in 0 and never been stopped; I'm bound to be the queue somewhere.

Is boxing the only sport where you avoid the biggest opportunities?

    Well done Hearn and Rees!

Hearn is showing real balls for a promoter to send out Brook and Rees overseas and be underdogs.

I think Billy Nielson is a bit confused about who the star is here. Absolutely deluded

Really hope Rees wins and does what it looks like Burns and Waren were to scared to do and im a Burns fan btw but what an opportunity they would have missed out on big payday Vegas fight if only they were a bit more risk taking.
