Kessler will do better, he will be better prepared for ward, and this time he have montoya as a trainer and not Richard Olsen that Kessler had last time. That being said it. It won't be close Ward wins without any difficulties.

Froch is made for Ward. And I can't see he can chance much from his first fight with Ward.

Kessler would do better. Don't know how strong Ward will come back. He will be out for quite some time, had a series of injuries, he might not be the same after that.

I'll wait with the judgement of Kessler's chances till Ward had a comeback fight.

    Hard to tell.

Ward,if anything has gotten better since he beat those guys.

    Especially the Kessler fight.

Kessler was the first time he had stepped up against real world class comp. Hes now settled at that level.

Ward beats both again...maybe even more convincingly.

Ward was basically a green kid when the fight happened.

He will only have improved since the Kessler fight.

They both lose even worse, but Froch does better.

kessler got beat down and was crying like a little ***** during the fight, nothing like his "viking warrior" nickname. froch didnt cry until a few days after the Ward fight.

Kessler was dire in their first encounter, I'd like to think he could improve. Froch would suffer a similar fate.

Yes agreed, Kessler was not prepared for Ward and clearly took him for granted. However, in a rematch, what can Kessler do differently? I've never seen him able to fight on the inside. Against Calzaghe, when Joe would get inside he had the beating of Kessler, and rocked him with a right hook to the body up close. Unless he landed a once in a lifetime punch, Kessler has no way of beating Ward, same with Froch, these guys are tailor made for the slicker, more athletic Ward

Calzaghe v Ward, that would have been a hell of a fight
