titles and wins? he has one good win over Demarco, who else? Martin Rodriguez? Vincente Escobedo? who was never gonna win that fight thanks to Broners unprofessionalism

seriously, name me another great win on Broner resume(that he actually beat ;)) Burns win over Martinez trumps everything else on Broners record alone

I personally think Gavin has a great chance he will cause the problem loads of problems, but he'd rather fight Broner than Ricky stylistically everyday of the week.
    Good luck gavin

Lets be honest about Burns/rees - its properly easier to make Rees/Broner than Rees/Burns due to the current spat between the respective promotors ,nothing to do with styles or rees not wanting to fight Burns .

Rees would push your guy over 12 rounds, might not win but would give him a tough fight, and even give him more of a fight than Mitchell ....

Burns would take out a prime Duran if they were ever to meet, according to Billy.

it was surreal when I said that Burns/Broner was more likely to be made than Rees/Burns in Speiclas thread yesterday..then I click out of the thread to see Rees/Broner has been made

Yeah, that was my point, I even used Broner/Vazquez as an example, TopRank/Goldenboy

Of course Rees would become the best British lightweight.

Who has Burns beat at the weight that comes close to Broner?

End of the day Burns bottled it and Rees didn't.

Rees would be number 1 in Britain if he wins, he won't win though. But only number 1 until he fights burns, cause Ricky would out point him.

Daniel Ponce De Leon, Jason Litzau and Antonio DeMarco are three very solid wins on paper, though I assume you think he lost the Ponce fight.

And who did Vazquez beat to become the undisputed #1 in the division? Kim?

I said apart from Demarco, and I also said "that he actually beat", so that rules out Ponce...

    so...yeah...Jason Litzau...fantastic

he was the best fighter and the only real champ when Juan Manuel and Rios moved up, you can't take that away from him, and his line of defences **** all over a win over ****ing Demarco , Vazquez is the man...and like a wise man in this thread once said "to be the man, you have to beat the man"

when did Broner beat the man? when was Demarco ever the man? the luckiest man maybe that he was still a beltholder after the Linares fight

and I never said he was "undisputed", just the number one, like any reasonable person knows

I have serious doubts the fight on the tip of peoples tongues on here is ever going to happen. I had a pinch of hope a few days back, but when I look at it, I said it before and I'm being proved right. Adrien Broner and his team have bigger fish to fry, they aint gonna wait around and stagnate at the weight, before you know it Broner will be vacating the belt and moving up.

You better believe it. The Rickster has been let down, its obvious he wants this fight, and he aint getting it anytime soon.

    A disgrace.

Good luck to Gavin, hope he puts in a decent performance, but I just can see him beating Adrien Broner, its another level entirely.

I agree Gavin would be a good fight but Ricky would win IMO.
I said not to long ago Gavin and Ricky were the best two LW in the UK
Of coarse fights are about styles Alba this is we're you let yourself down very badly,Ricky would be a nightmare IMO for Gavin
