Terry was one of the most gifted offensive fighters I've ever watched, such a damn shame.

Not when it is Julian Jackson delivering the 1 punch ko...
McClellan complained over serious headaches after his first fight with Jackson, his trainer has mentioned damage from the Jackson fight being reason why he got hurt so bad against Benn..

gerald having a 5 round war getting hit by jackson is different than Norris getting KO'd by basically 1 or 2 punches when he was 22 years old. If that was the case everyone Julian Jackson fought and KOd would be in Terry Norris condition right now. its simply bull****. Norris had sparring sessions that were brutal and contributed to most all of this, not some punch by Jackson 21 years ago :patsch

Spoken like a true idiot , a KO fool is a concussion a bruising of the brain. There a reason they have you take 90 day off after getting KOed .. Getting KOed is not the safest thing who in the hell told you that, **** information !

    ask anyone you stupid ****.

when people die in the ring , it isnt because of one punch! :rofl

its a sustained beating over a period of time.

    youre a ****ing moron :rofl

in terms of long term affects, a 1 punch KO is 100 times more safe than a guy who was never KO'd but took ass kicking in the ring over and over

Ok, your claim is that its the sparring wars that caused Norris condition..
There was already talk about Norris speech and detoriation of his skills back in 97-98. Norris suffered some ko losses during his career, but the first and the worst was the one he suffered against Jackson. And it could have been the damage starter.:hi:

I don't have to ask you idiot I boxed amateur .. Have you ever been dropped, do you know what it like to get you bell rung or get dropped?

The way your talking its sounds like you don't ..
Once you have knocked down koed , your head rings and you have a real awful headache .. Sorry but my knock down experience was anything but merciful .
KOs causes damage to the brain, it is a brain bruising do your research before you start talking ****.

getting blunged to death in a long hard fight is different from getting hit by one blow that bruises the brain.. Bruises do not heal ever ! Not saying the lots of sparring does not causes damage but getting KOed and having long sparring can lead to the same road of damage.

People have died many times taking one punch Kos, especially in older days with smaller gloves. It all depends, a one shot ko can ruin people, and a 12 round beating can ruin people. The ko from jackson most definitely damaged Norris, that was about as brutal as it gets

agreed and anyone that understands boxing knows this to be the case. a one-punch ko has more mental repurcussion than anything else, especially when it happend to a previously undefeated fighter. in fact, some guys never fight again(spinks, lipsey).

titos and chavezs systematic breakdowns of vargas and meldrick are good examples of what ruins a fighter.

Boxing, better to get out too early than too late.
