Bad joke. Who the hell is Paul Williams and what has he done. Aaron Pryor was one of the greatest. Feared no man. He would have a feeding frenzy on Paul Williams.
What did Pryor do at 147 again? Come in undertrained and hooked on coke before being knocked out? Seriously, who's to say he wouldn't make the transition terribly ala Bob Foster or other greats who couldn't cut it at a higher weight class? Perhaps being unable to impose himself on fighters larger then himself. Just playing devils advocate, but christ... At least when Carlos Monzon matchups are posted on here that involve him moving up to LHW people question whether he'd make the transition well, what with his style of fighting.
That's exactly what I think. Pryor was great at 140. At 147, you had a prime Don Curry & I didn't like Aarons chances against that guy at that time. The thing to remember about Pryor is that he was a lightweight that could not get a title shot in that division so he moved up to 140. I'm not convinced Pryor beats Williams or Breland or Simon Brown or Cuevas or lots of other good welterweights.
I have a tom cat that is pretty much insane. He once picked a fight with a coyote, and damn neared died as a result. In this scenario PDub plays the tom cat.
so your tom cat was 6 1/2 inches taller and had to cut down to make the weight to fight the coyote? interesting....... size isnt the most important factor to consider but that alone would be a tough challenge for just about anyone.
