Is Dallas Jr. rated by WBC? I know he'll be getting quality sparring and a good teacher in Virgil. Hopefully it'll be competitive...

If Dallas didn't have a class jaw I would think he would have a chance just like Hank. You can still walk Lucas into shots and keep him off balance with movement.

He isn't the greatest at cutting off the ring.

I actually think Virgil will come up with a good game plan and it'll be competitive for a few rounds... until Matthysse's power and pressure take over for a brutal late stoppage.

Wait, an Amir Khan fan saying Matthysse's opponents are nobodies :!:

Who were Amir's best opponents again? And who were Matthysse's? :blood

Well, Khan actually managed to BEAT Zab for a start... :hey

Plus Kotelnik and Maidana are as good or better than anyone on Matthysse's record. I like Lucas, and I think he probably stops Khan H2H, but he is a tad overrated by some, and that's putting it lightly.

Who is Brendis Prescott and what has he done? LOL
Who is Lamont Peterson, had Khan running in the ring literally turning his back to Peterson and running. LOL. Only notable fight was a near shutout loss to Tim Bradley
Who is Danny Garcia? KO'd Khan badly and only notable wins were beating up a shot Morales, getting a decision on Holt.

    LOL.

Khan fans mad cuz Matty would decapitate their hero. Too bad JLO will probably get to him first.

    I'm a Khan fan

    Respect JLO and love Lucas...

I think Lucas would get the KO if he lands anything big...
and Khan beats Lopez in a UD...

    Problem?

I fail to see how that makes my above post any less factually true though.

Didn't Maidana got his ass kicked all over the place by Alexander, who is on Matthysse's record and also got a blatant gift against him?! :blood
He's all wrong for Khan, but he isn't overrated imo.
He should be undefeated, and I think he's among the best out there at the weight.

Maidana got beat bad by Alexander, I'll give you that, and Matthysse definitely looked superior against him. But that doesn't mean he's not on the same level as those guys. Kotelnik "beat" Alexander just as convincingly as Matthysse did (minus the knockdown), and Maidana pushed him to the edge. Styles make fights.

The fact is that Khan's resume is actually pretty good, and definitely compares favourably to Matthysse's. I think he's overrated, but that's subjective, one of us will be proven right when all is said and done I guess ;)

I agree that he's all wrong for Khan too.
