I see the 10 round distance working into Chavez jrs favor, but I still see Rodrigo being a little too seasoned for Chavez here. UD 10 Valdes here.

I agree, with most of this....I would just add that Valdez had some pop (only guy to stop Briscoe) and wouldn't rule out him stoping Chavez either.

If anyone thinks that proposeing this match is a bad idea...remember, Chavez Jr is fair game...after all he just recently fought that favorite ESB heart-throb Martinez and had him down at the end.

valdez should push his **** in. better in virtually every conceivable way. as noted valdez had REAL power and chavezs chin would either crack or force valdez to deliver a frightening beating

That's the way I see it Nightcrawler:good..this would have been a brutal mismatch, but like I said, Jr is fair game for a discussion like this.

kid showed balls against sergio, especially that 12th round, but he also showed his skill level. BIG middle, good punch, solid chin and as you said game but overall pretty weak skill set

:lol:Sorry bro,...I was just lamenting the mediocre state of the middleweight class today..hell, Martinez is no doubt the best of this present crop, I'll say that, but overall, YEEESH, how forgettable it is..

If it makes you feel any better Wlad would have beaten him.
