    Too many people, especially on ESB make fun of boxers when they put their life on the lines. Worse things than death can happen, such as living as a vegetable for the rest of your life.

    It's a scary thing walking into a ring, no matter what level of boxing you are at. So all warriors need respect for fighting fighters in general.

    The fight that put McClellan in Disability World was a 'kill or be killed' fight. If it wasn't Mclellan it would have been Benn. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

    Ah more horror stories? It's rare.

    I'd rather know how to fight and not worry about brain damage.
    It's dangerous just going outside anyway. You can die every time you take a walk or go for a drive right? Can't live in fear.

    This guy knew what he was getting into. Do we cry for some idiot NASCAR guy when he is in a brutal crash and running around with his hair on fire? No we don't.

    Plus,Gerald McClellan was the scumbag who once taped a dog's mouth shut and let other dogs tear it to pieces.
    In the end,you get what you deserve.

    that couldve been avoided mcColugh was sticking his mouthpiece out of his mouth through out the whole fight. the ref should have warned him or something, and not to mention benn kept punching him behind the head.

    I couldn't agree more with you.. I never laughed once at all the photo shopping everyone was doing with manny's photo.. I just couldn't see the humor in it.

    Agree 100%. I will never disrespect a fighter for that reason.

    Yep, taped a Labradors jaw shut and let his pack of fighting pitbulls tear it to bits. He was a right piece of **** in my books.

    This is the part of boxing that I hate. I was supporting Marquez, but when he landed that KO on Pacquiao, although I was ecstatic for Marquez...all positive emotions were overclouded by the effect that punch had on Pacquiao, even though he was ok a few minutes later.

    I like seeing boxing expressed as the art that it is, I like UD's, TKO's where a lot of heart is shown but the referee made a good decision to stop the fight.

    It's hard knowing someone like Ali and Wilfried Benitez have been deteriorating at a really alarming rate.
