Hilarious ... it was clear that he wasn't going to beat Lewis as he was losing steam and had already tried his utmost to get the KO before the fight would be stopped, yet he couldn't even crack that glass hanging from Lewis' cranium

And everybody knows that scoring in boxing sometimes is very strange. IMO it was a draw after 6 rounds. But this did not matter too. It was a legal stoppage. A legal TKO win.

Without Vitali´s behavior after the fight and without the fact that HBO wanted Lewis to loose the fight, nobody would have pay so much attention on this TKO loss.

Lewis was hated and HBO wants him to loose so they commentated this fight pro Vitali. And the end pro Vitali.

If Lewis had these cuts in round 3 the fight would have been stopped immediatly and Vitali would never mentioned that the fight was stopped too early. He would have say "Health is more important, the stoppage was legal".

To behave like Vitali after this fight shows no respect to the Champion Lennox Lewis and his win.

Lewis was the much better boxer but Lewis is intelligent and he realized father time knocked on his door.

Here on ESB you can read: Vitali should not fight David Haye, he is too old now, Haye was waiting for that Vitali got older and so on.

Vitali wants a rematch with a man who says he is too old for boxing.

It did not happen because it was a robbery just like Ross was robbed against Cunningham. The fight should have went to scorecards after accidental/intentional thumbing by Lewis. Boxing is not a street fight and Vitali proved to be a better boxer that night.
