I think he types this guff in the Sun without believing a word of it. Frank is many things but stupid ain't one of them.
When's the last time they did a survey on the people that pay for his shows? a smarter person wouldn't have such an awful reputation.
It'll be interesting to see who cleverly is actually matched with in 2013 after seeing the names ***** has put forward. Froch really doesn't need the fight and as I and others have said in this thread, he would be better fighting groves or degale.
To be fair, I know Clev and Froch are in different weight classes but it's basically the same as what Froch did to Joe. Froch knew he had little to no chance of securing a fight with Joe, same as Clev knows he has little to no chance of securing a fight with Froch. Froch was just trying to raise his profile off Joe's name by calling him out, and Clev is doing the exact same now off Froch's recent success.
The thing is he's doing it with everyone, hopkins, cloud, dawson, froch etc and I don't think he has any intention of fighting any of them in 2013. I don't even think cleverly/***** would take the froch fight if it was offered to them.
If Clev carries on fighting second rate opponents for a year or two it wouldn't surprise me if Froch took the fight as his last...he could make a lot of cash for a very easy nights work IMO.
