Froch cried like a little *****, complaining that Ward doesn't "fight" despite the fact that Ward forced the action and beat Froch the **** up all night long.

Ward isn't moving up anytime soon by the looks of it and Froch keeps winning.

If he is staying at 168 Froch is one of the best options.

The first fight wasn't much of a contest tbh. Froch had very select moments while Ward dominated like 34:00/36:00 of the fight.

I suppose if both remain at 168 then I guess Ward runs out of options. But by no means does the first fight suggest the need for a second fight.

Your right it doesn't but the Super Six left little doubt who the best fighters are.

Since then Froch destroyed Bute so that options out as someone said the winner of Froch vs Kessler 2 leaves the clear number 2 in the division.

It just happens Ward has already dominated both.

Ward should move up, otherwise rematch Froch and or Kessler. Nothing to do with either of the previous fights, they just happen to be the best in the division.

Im not interested but i think Froch was very surprised by Ward

I dont think he thought Ward was gonna fight him like that. I think Froch expected to win the inside stuff and be able to out grapple Ward. I think Froch in a rematch would be better prepared and have a better plan.

This said I dont see a reversal of last years dominant win by Ward, maybe Froch does a little better or maybe Ward is that good that he shuts down the improvements by Froch in a second meeting

Love how people act like ward froch was like calzaghe lacy it was far from it froch came on late and got plenty of digs in against ward.

The real question you should be asking is who the hell else is out there for ward ? would you rather see ward vs froch 2 or ward vs alan greene or similar ?

lets have a ref that doesnt allow ward to hold spoil push and maul how about the refs that dont allow amir khan to do all that stuff ? oh wait when an americans hold and spoil its fine right

ward spent half the fight hugging froch and holding his glove in froch's face then following up with punches (illegal) spoiling his work

The better question is, why not? If both are going to stay at 168 for awhile, it's still one of the best fights to be made.

Some of you act like world class fighters never came back from a loss to do better in the rematch before.

I think the winner of Froch - Kessler II will face Ward, perhaps after a tuneup

The looser of those two will most likely go for AA and take his belt.

Meanwhile Bute / Pavlik / AA / Groves will go at it.

British boxing fans can be silly. They complain during the Floyd/hatton fight that the ref didn't allow inside fighting. Then they complain during Ward/froch that the ref allowed inside fighting.

    Gotta love the hypocrisy...

Also, I'm not starting this **** up again... but Ward would dismantle Calzaghe.

Oh, and those punches were legal.

Ward should improve upon their second match. He's getting stronger at the weight and is unquestionably the smarter boxer. That combination will not bode well for an aging Froch.

I think Ward wins more decisively and hurts Froch along the way. Nobody's stopping that chin though
