Another Tua comeback

  1. Looks like David Tua is attempting another comeback. I dont really give him much of a chance. He is 40 now and way past his prime. He has the right trainer in Lee Parore to get him into good physical condition but he blew his last comeback attempt when I felt he actually had a decent shot at least contending for a belt. He has been in financial trouble for years now and this will be the reason he is coming back ala Joe Louis.

interesting match up tua vs cameron II
tough call...even though cameron just lost to green, tua is no dancing master and would stand right in front of him. i dont see this one going the distance

  3. Nah me neither. Cameron is very professional and always comes into fights extremely well conditioned but he is very limited as a fighter. If Tua is anywhere near what he was last time they fought I like his chances. But fighting Cameron is one thing. Challenging even todays upper echelon of heavyweights is another matter entirely.

cameron should keep at the cruiser limit. he looks good, well rounded, has the power and isnt outmuscled.

green stayed well away from him. but cameron is still a cruiser contender of sorts.

  5. Its probably his best weight to fight at but that's not saying much. He couldn't get near 39 year old Green so I can't see him making too much noise.

These no hoper comebacks are pretty irritating.

  8. Well its all about the money but yeah it annoys me too this time around. 3 years ago he got into great condition for the Cameron and still had something left to give I believe. But he blew it again, he let himself get out of shape and that was that.

Tua fans don't give up. He got close to the top...a decade ago. He will never get a belt.

imo Tua was never the same after the Ibeabuchi fight

He might make some money as a gate keeper/ step up type opponent

It's always funny coming across youtube comments of diehard Tua fans who still believe Wlad is ducking him right now, and one left hook would make Tua king.
