Now that this fight is DEAD.
When would this fight have been @it's absolute best/peak?
(By removing an opponent & adding either Pac or May)

What time period/date would have been perfect?

12-06-2008 Pacquiao Vs. instead of De La Hoya
11-14-2009 Pacquiao Vs. instead of Cotto
03-13-2010 Pacquiao Vs: instead of Clottey
11-13-2010 Pacquiao Vs. instead of Margarito
05-07-2011 Pacquiao Vs. instead of Mosley

09-19-2009 Mayweather Vs. instead of Marquez
05-01-2010 Mayweather Vs. instead of Mosley
09-17-2011 Mayweather Vs. instead of Ortiz

IMO this fight would have been perfect around the Cotto fight.
    (Replacing Cotto w/Mayweather)
^Mayweather from the Juan Fight Vs. Pacquiao.

I think there is a right and wrong answer here. The perfect time was when the first negotiations would have yielded the fight. It was supposed to be March 13th of 2010. Pacquiao walked away from negotiations over random blood testing and the cutoff date and immediately signed on for Clottey on that date.

If Manny looks as good in his next fight as he did early against JMM, it's still an interesting fight.

This, and I remember staying up past midnight to hear that ******* Bob Arum announce that Pacman would be fighting Margarito instead :fire:fire:fire

I'm glad he got KTFO, Top Rank got what they deserved, as did Juan Manuel Marquez :mj

...and have begun accusing fighters who they wish would test positive to reduce some of the negative light which has shone on Pac in the ring recently.

Yet still claiming that Pac, the most suspicious ON PAPER PED user of all time, who is trained by a man whose fighters have tested positive before, is a shining example of being clean.

    ?

I don't get it... He got dropped hard as hell twice in the first half of the fight and didn't get up after the second one for a solid minute. Against a near 40 year old whose experience above 135 is... iffy.

Yep. The highest of highs for his career spare for the Barrera I win (which was followed by JMM I controversy).

Before this, Pac was still unproven at WW (I really don't want to make a big deal about it but why was it at 145 again? So dumb...).

The biggest problem though is after he beat Cotto Mayweather **** his pants and got the most scared he had ever been of Pac...

Apparantly an 11 round TKO of Cotto is Pacquiao 'walking through' somebody he wouldn't have been able to without steriods in Floyd's crazy chicken mind.

Sorry. I'm going to catch a lot of hate for this. But this fight would never of been close. Floyd has a

. Pac never stood a chance, despite all the hyperbole stirred up by Arum and Roach.

The fight is not dead if Manny beats Marquez by TKO the fight will be alive again

    Shut the f*ck up.

Frazier had a 6"+ reach 'disadvantage' against Ali...

If you take it from the books it was 7"... thats a glove length.

After the Pacquiao - Cotto fight, Pacquiao was at his height. Early 2010 would have been perfect.

Has the cut healed? The one that takes 9 months to heal?

Or what about the outdoor stadium? How's that coming along?

Still afraid of needles? Drawing blood weakens you?

"I don't know. Ask my promoter."

    :huh :rofl

Thread has turned to **** already.

Shame some people don't know how to work off facts like others.
