I've seen a few good japanese fights here and there but does anyone know about any recent fights i can watch or which japanese fighters are fun to watch? Just for some reason i like watching lower weight class fighters fight and it seems that japanese and cubans dominate the lower weight classes

Kazuto Ioka is one of my favorite active fighters. He's great.
Ioka vs. Oleydong Sithsamerchai- extremely significant 105 pound fight
Ioka vs. Chalermchai- pleasing first round KO

Shinsuke Yamanaka vs. Tomas Rojas- one of the very best KO's of the year, awesome...

Yota Sato vs. Suriyan Rungvisai/Chockchai- damn good battle, although I thought the decision should have been flipped

Koki Kameda vs. Mario Macias- great body shot assault for the finish

Akifumi Shimoda vs. Ryol Li Lee- watch Round 3.

Kazuto Ioka-Akira Yaegashi (both Japanese) was one of the best fights of the year.

Yamanaka-Ryu Iwasa was one of the best fights of 2011, and now that Iwasa has moved into contention there's a very good chance that they'll fight again.

None. They are either: bums, tomato can killers, defends and loose against fellow Japanese bums so their world title remains in Japan and earns for Japan a new paper title. Don't expect too much from the land of paper champs.

Four posts...Three of them slagging on Japanese fighters. Obviously someone lost money betting the result of Yamanaka-Darchinyan...:D

Only Japanese, part-Japanese and those who pretend to be non-Japanese will not slag on Nippon boxing.

Of course, Takashi Uchiyama. The guy has dynamite on his punches.
