Why are people saying Floyd-Gatti? Gatti was C level skill with A level entertainment. This is not a master class. Floyd vs. Corrales is the definition of master class.

The recent-ish one that sticks in the mind is Calzaghe vs Lacy. Lacy came with a big reputation, it was a big fight and Calzaghe just abused him for 12 rounds, and showed superb skill. If his hands werent ****ed it would have been over a lot sooner but it was a joy to watch.

Ward did a great job on Froch too .

I remember watching Steve Foster against an American id heard of but never seen. Totally took apart Foster, masterclass on foreign soil and left a massive impression. Winky Wright or something ;)

I remember that fight. Jimmy Paul. That was on a TVKO fight on the undercard of Toney or Dewitt or something . That was impressive. Also I remember Simon Brown in the 1980s dismantling Shawn OSullivan, I think that was his name. Shawn had red welts on his body from the bodyshots of Brown.

Mayweather could do the exact same thing to a lot of C level brawlers. In fact he HAS done the same exact thing to a lot of them on his way up. That fight was a mismatch beatdown, NOT a masterclass. Against Corrales he was an underdog who wasn't expected to be able to handle the much bigger power puncher, but he put on a MASTERCLASS.
