David Haye could have been the biggest star in boxing if he cane to America. Tried against Wlad, fought often etc But he is just an irrelevant diva who fights only for money and fame. He is barely a fighter. But no,Jack Johnson was the most hated fighter ever.
Oh I know my history, But you presented a person who was in a era of Racism. So how can you say he was the most hated when he was never given a fair chance? Are you some sort of ******? The most hate would be Max Schmeling but after all the crap was over,he was a very well liked person.
Am I a ******? Is that what you said? well sir,I think you have been soundly defeated. According to you Jack Johnson wasn't hated the most because he fought in a racist era? Racism doesn't count as hate? LOL! Schmeling fought in 1945,a very racist time. Ever heard of Hitler and the Nazi party? LOL! HAHA! You silly little guy!
But you can't say Jack Johnson was hated, because this is about personality. He was hated because of his skin color and you can't pick your skin color, so why should we include him when he was not hated for who he was but rather what color he was.
He was hated for who he was! He was also an arrogant bragger type of guy! Plus he was with a white girl and that was a big no no back then. The racist whites hated his arrogant attitude and his skin color.
You said previous post to read up on history..wow. He was hated for his color and if he wasn't why did the previous HW champions draw the color line? Why did it take a huge fortune to change Tommy Burns mind about the color line? You just said "he was with a white girl and that was a big no back then" so you really are a ******. Ali and Ray Robinson had the same character minus the white girls, yet they were idolised.
Yeah only difference is Johnson fought in the 1900's and SRR was in the 50's,Ali was in the 60's and 70's. Time changes public opinion. He was hated the most. The thread title says nothing about not using skin color. The question was "is Haye the most hated fighter ever?" My Answer: no Jack Johnson was hated more because he was black and arrogant in a very racist era. Other fighters hated him and so did the public=the most hated. So basically you have no point and maybe you are the ******?
Muhammad Ali was actually quite hated back in the 60's especially. Not entering the draft, publicly declaring he was a Muslim in a country especially dominated by Christians at the time, being arrogant etc. he was a very disliked figure back in the day. Modern day example, I think Antonio Margarito is by far the most hated fighter of this decade. The plaster of paris incident completely demolished his image.
