Nah, we're all watching the same thing in real time - I was just a minute or so late with my submittals.
They're showing highlights of Maskaev against Sedreck "Big Buck" Fields. Yeah, I guess that's a comparable opponent to current Beck. :!:
Maskaev did have some problems with Fields (and even suffered a flash KD at one point!!!) and that was nine years ago...
Is shot to **** 43 years old Maskaev still capable to look good against guy like Beck? Beck is so terrible nowdays that I can't imagine him causing an upset. Darnell Wilson or any other OK-level fighter would KTFO of Maskaev
It's been five years since Beck knocked anybody out. A year before that he comfortably outpointed Darnell Wilson.
Husanov has the olive skin jet black hair; Chemezov the light brown (and a chest tattoo) Uzbek prospect vs. Russian prospect. Somebody's 0 must go.
Round 1 Chemezov is pushing his jab and quickly tucking his forearms against his face while coming forward. Huzanov circles left and tosses a long jab. Counter hook by Chemezov. Pecking jabs by Husanov. When either man throws a straight right they miss wide of the opponent's head and wind up getting tangled. Pretty close and uneventful round. 10-9 Chemezov
Round 2 Chemezov is ducking in and thrashing the body from below. Husanov tosses the 1-2 into his guard putting his lead foot forward and dropping anchor for extra leverage with his full weight. They trade body shots leaning together. Chemezov walks forward and slings both fists under Husanov's upheld elbows. Chemezov blocks some light jabs while walking Husanov across the ring, and then slams him with a sudden right to the head. Clubbing rights by Husanov in reply, and it's Chemezov backing up. The crowd is getting into it. They parry jabs in the middle of the ring and Chemezov presses in on Husanov, grabbing him and dragging him into a corner. Husanov spins Chemezov's back into it, and starts to open up on him with straight combos. 10-9 Husanov, took firm control midway through 19-19
