That is why Greb, Armstrong et all, get mad praise from me for it. It was beyond the call of duty.

I have Greb and Langford in the top 2, but I have no qualms with those who put Robinson on top.

There's probably seven or eight fighters at least who could be #1.

There most important thing to address when speaking of Robinson is that it is indeed OK to place somebody above him.

It is not sacrilege as a large part of the boxing fraternity would have you believe.

I think Robinson, Greb, and Langford all have roughly equal claims to the #1 spot. Possibly Armstrong and Charles as well, though I rate them just a hair behind the top 3.

As somebody's already said there's more than one fighter who have reasons to be called #1 just difference of opinions. For me its Robinson though.

He definatley could of been if he actually got a chance to fight somebody, he was going to fight Armstrong and that may have changed top lists in boxing history... but ****ing Fritzie ''thumb in the eye'' Zivic got it instead of Burley :wall

    There is a bigger gap between 4. Robinson & 5. Louis, than between 1. B. Leonard & 4. Robinson.

This is the kind of instance where Ray Leonard (his #2 All-Time) should make Duran an absolute lock for the top ten.

I'm more interested in finding out what makes Ray Leonard the second greatest fighter of all time.

I do have Robinson #1 but Charles would be a very close second IMO. Ezzard`s resume is very impressive. Maybe not the spectacular performer that Sugar Ray was but just as effective.
