    Yeah not in a fight less than a year prior, in a totally different weight class. Marquez lost to Chris John nearly 7 years ago at featherweight and was arguably robbed and it took him 4 fights to beat Pacquiao

    I don't think Rigondeaux is quite ready for Donaire yet. Let him fight a Montiel or a Darchinyan first, then we'll talk.

    1. Donaire didn't call out Arce either

    2. Better old and washed-up than a NOBODY/tomato can

    3. Darchinyan, Montiel, Marquez, Mathebula, Mthalane and Vasquez are all "old and washed-up" LOL

    4. Let them both fight. I'd like to see them fight myself too. Let's how this hype would go. LOL
    Just give the greedy Arum a good reason to make this fight happen cause he calls the shots not either of them fighters.

    5. PPV star NOT= good fighter
    Understand those differences. And yes, fighting Arce for the 4th time this year is WAYYYY BETTER than having a fight cancelled. :deal

    He is a super batamweight champion...why should he fight ppl from smaller weight classes..

    Maybe not Montiel as he has aged badly post the brutal KO by Donaire.

    I'd like to see him in with Moreno, Leo Santa Cruz, Agbeko too. Or maybe one of the prospects like Quigg or Frampton

    Shame Kratingdaeggym got AIDS. I had him giving Rigondeaux hell, Rigo getting a disputed pts win and the fight Donaire losing much of it's appeal like Mayweather-Pacquiao did after Pac-JJM 3

    How about Mathebula or Vazquez Jr? If he's ready for Donaire maybe he could prove it by winning in more convincing fashion

    He will have to fight those..how I said those are not good wins..mathebula only once fought a top 10...and vasquez lose 2 out of three last fights..only once fought a top 10(Donaire)..

    And who has Rigondeaux beaten who's better?

    Mathebula was robbed by hometown deicisions against Ndlovu- alost which he avenged and captured a world title, and Caballero- who at the time was rated in The Ring's pound for pound top 10.

    And one of Vazquez Jr's losses was against Donaire- no shame ion that.

    Both are better than anyone on Rigondeaux resume at the moment
