For most of the fight he was makin it easy For Duran by staying close and flat footed, it should have been a bouncing moving jabbing fast combinations eonard against Duran..So what could leonard have done to win this fight like he was supposed to?

For most of his career he fought Durans fight, though he was stiffer than usual.

Anyway at 145 he was physically superior to Duran in every way, he just got outskilled too much.

Don't know if he could have done anything. He should have tried to be more mobile early on, though, giving more angles - like he usually did. He was more static and way more stiffer in the opening rounds than he usually was. Duran had something do with that, of course. So it's hard to say.

He didn't look like his usual self, but then he'd never faced someone like Duran before.

I'm starting to get the feeling about the new accounts as well, something is just not quite right about them :think

Leonard 'not fighting his fight' is a bit like saying you were late for an interview because you had no sleep and had a bad morning. Well, you should have gone to bed earlier and not blamed the early appointment time :good

It's hard to believe that Leonard only fought 40 times in that era. Incredible.

he needed to fight Duran and realize that fighting his fight is important with the top guys. That not everyone can be beat with intensity and wilpower. He learned the full game after the first Duran fight.
