It's harsh to call Haye a hypejob imo.

He was undisputed cruiserweight champion, beating Mormeck in his own backyard and then effectively ended Maccarinelli's career inside 2 rounds.

He stepped up to heavyweight and won a paper belt there before losing to an ATG who's two stone heavier than him.

After the Acosta fight everyone was going mad over him on here. People were picking him to end Marquez's career and saying he'll get to anyone, and then he went and got schooled by Abril.

Yeah, i love his style and his genuine warrior mentality, but i never would have picked him over Marquez.

He'll always be in great fights if matched correctly, but he'll pick up defeats along the way for sure.

What an awful list, goddamn. Haye was the undisputed CW champ and is still regarded as the best H2H HW outside the Klits. Hatton lost to P4P #1 und #2, big ****ing deal. Khan has some really good wins on his resume but his chin will only allow him to go this far. Nothing you can do about an extraordinarily bad punch resistance really.

So that leaves us with the likes of Lemieux, Mike Jones, Alexander (who has three losses in my book), Juanma and boxers who were actually expected to become world beaters but underperformed drastically. Lemieux probably the worst offender in this list.

Obviously a troll... all three biggest hypejobs are british? Obvious troll.

The only one with a bit of hypejob there is Khan. And Khan does have some nice skills... so I would not even say he is a hypejob.

A hardworking fringe contender who got a bit of bad luck a couple of times or might have a title reign of some kind to his name, nobody was every calling him the next big thing though.

Kelly Pavlik has to be a major one, still eating off of 2 wins over Jermain Taylor 5 years ago

Seth Mitchell, ooh the yanks were getting excited about him then KO2 Jonathan frigging Banks

I agree with plenty others mentioned like Mike Jones and David Lemieux, the can killer.

Arthur Abraham is a RIDICULOUS inclusion on this list :patsch

The man won a world title this year for ****s sake.

No one ever expected him to win against Ward.

Who exactly hyped him ? :huh

sorry but most of the names here are complete bull****.

Genuine hypejobs are the likes of Seth Mitchell, who lets face it not more than a football player on steroids was HYPED to ****. So called boxing experts predicted him to shake up the heavyweight division tons of people were calling for a fight with the Kbros. I remember, when the fight vs. Wach was announced people were saying Wlad shoulda fought Mitchell instead. lmao. Mitchell KOed by mediocre Banks. Wach woulda made him go down hard.

Pavlik is a good shout ^

He was praised to be the saviour of American boxing before the Hopkins fight, people on here even suggested that he would be the first to KO Hopkins...

Alot of people did, especially when he beat Jermain Taylor.
People expected him to beat Dirrell but he was dominated
Same goes for the Froch fight, Froch positively destroyed the hype train which is why nobody expected him to beat Ward
