NEW BOX REC RANKINGS....WTF has just happened

Yeah saw that too... the weirdest thing is they turned their scores around too.
Wlad was the one with 1200+ and Vitali had 1100+. Both didn't fight after the latest score update of course, so it looks like they either made some stupid mixup or they have some hidden agenda. :blood

That, or they read the reactions from the fans at the forums and saw how much credibility they would lose if they actually went trough with it.

Noone cares they're the least credible of any ranking organisation I know.

 

Quoted for Truth - I created my own "BCS-style" computer rankings, and despite continuous tinkering, oddities always tend to pop out. Mine for example starts sanely with W. Klitschko, V. Klitschko, Povetkin, Haye, and Pulev, and then randomly spits out Arreola. :fire I guess that is why the BCS has 6 computer models and throws out the highest and lowest rankings for each team before creating its computer average.

 

This is what happens when personal agendas are removed from ranking decisions and fighters are rated on the actual results rather than the hype surrounding them.

I don't mind boxrec, at least there is no agenda. You take it for what it is, you know it isn't perfect but at least you know there's no dodgy goings on.

 

it doesn't account for bad decisions though. Just check Bradley's ranking at welterweight

I guess Floyd vs RG doesnt look quite as appealing now without that fake award

now if there wasnt fake ass interim titles around to hype him up this fight wouldnt be happening
